@jennthetutor @David_Blobaum @akilbello Most studies separate GPA and ACT predictability. No one advocates for tests instead of GPA. It is always in tandem. The STTF report from CA provides tons of data that when HSGPA and tests results combine, predictability increases significantly over either in isolation.

@jennthetutor They are my students too. But I agree they aren't a monolith. But isn't the primary reason why tests are demonized is because of perceived bias by making monoliths out of minority groups? Even when there is no score difference by race when controlled for socioeconomics.
