The iceberg model (e.g.: the “iceberg” success memes) hasn’t been resonating with me lately for a few reasons, so I’ve been experimenting with different imagery. I’m thinking a lot of roots, extending beyond what is frame-able…all that is unseen but still a part of who we are.
26 million people already applied for #CancelStudentDebt relief, and 16 million were approved before Republicans decided to play politics with people’s lives.
Enough.
@POTUS did his part. The Supreme Court must let the people receive this critical relief.
Can we please talk about the mental & physical exhaustion that comes after applying for grad schools? This waiting game of whether you are accepted or not & how long it takes is stressful. The fact that some schools get away with never saying anything to applicants is disgusting.
A few peers & I who’ve felt the dreadful impact & isolation of not matching in #APPIC phase(s) 1, 2, &/or post-match vacancy are offering a supportive resource for students entering phase 2. Pls share widely, & off social, accounting for those who may be choosing to stay offline.
