You can easily get a very solid workout in 30-45m. There’s many different ways to approach your training.
If you’re gonna do a 30m workout you should structure your workout days as optimal as you can.
Example Push Day:
2x Incline DB Press 6-8 reps
2x Flat DB Press 6-8 reps
2x Decline Press 6-8 reps
2x Tricep Extension 8-10 reps
2x Tricep Overhead Extension 8-10 reps
10-15m Stairmaster
You should be focused on perfect form while always focusing on adding a rep or more weight per session. (progressive overload)
Rest times depend, if you’re still super out of breath pls rest enough. Your CNS takes a huge hit when training really hard. Simply rest enough to catch your breath.
If you’re sand bagging your sets, you’ll be in the gym for 1hr30m+
Most progress comes with upping your training intensity and training w correct form. Diet is absolutely the biggest part of your journey tho, aim for .8g-1g protein per LEAN body weight.
Reducing volume will make it a lot easier to recover from session to session. Remember that more doesn’t = better. Pls stop recommending ppl 4x sets of 10-15 reps workouts. You’re only making ppl not want to workout.
