We are 8 students of the University of Applied Sciences Munich forming AIMIS (Additive Manufacturing In Space), part of the REXUS program of DLR, SNSA and ESA.

Meanwhile our partner team @AimisFyt is in Belgium at the @ESA__Education facilities receiving a workshop on how to build an experiment. Have a good time there, hope you're learning a thing or two π
This morning we installed our second camera into the module. And just in time, the whole payload is gonna be shipped to Kiruna on Friday! So next time we see this is gonna be days before the launch. Bon vojage! #RoadToRexus ~fs
After yesterdays integrated payload check and some last tweaks today the Bench Test Week is over for us! Our experiment is going to be shipped together with the other modules, as an integrated payload. See you in Kiruna, Platini! π #RoadToRexus#StudentsToSpace ~fs
And we're ready for our first individual com check with the service module! With this test we check if the signals from the rocket are received by our experiment. Let's see how it goes! #RoadToRexus#StudentsToSpace ~fs
Good morning, we just arrived @DLR_de for our final test week, the Bench Test. A lot of communication and integrated testing will happen this week. By the end of the week we'll also hand over our experiment for shipping it to Kiruna. Let's go! πͺ #RoadToRexus#StudentsToSpace ~fs
We and our partner team @AimisFyt wish you a Merry Christmas! We're taking a little break for now and enjoy our Christmas party! Thank you @REXUSBEXUS, @ZARM_de, @ESA__Education and @SSCspace for this amazing year full of experience and fun!
Thanks a lot to @ZARM_de and @REXUSBEXUS for the hospitality, nice touch to be in Bremen around Christmas time with all it's Christmas Markets (you have A LOT of them). Looking forward to the Bench Test in Oberpfaffenhofen, which is at a little more convenient distance for us π
The week ended with a Bench Test of the integrated payload of RX27. We connected our system to FLORENCE, BLACKBOX2 and HADES to test the timeline of the rocket flight to see if we get any problems. Fortunately all went nominal, so we're ready for the last phase of the cycle! πͺ
Last day at the @ZARM_de. Today we're gonna do a fit check with the other modules of our rocket and do some integrated testing. Gonna be really nice to see the assembled payload! #RoadToRexus#StudentsToSpace ~fs
Day 2 at @ZARM_de. We're doing a full inspection of the experiment after yesterdays vibration test. Today's also gonna be the individual experiment check by the @REXUSBEXUS team to see, if our experiment is safe to fly. #RoadToRexus#StudentsToSpace ~fs
The hardest part is over! The experiment was tested with vibration loads of up to 7 g. No parts got loose and a quick checkup reveals full functionality. Seems like we did a good job in mechanical design and simulation! #RoadToRexus#StudentsToSpace ~fs
Team AIMIS wishes you a happy second Advent! For the celebration of the day we already have four "candles".
The integration week @ZARM_de
in Bremen starts tomorrow and we are really excited about it!
#RexusBexus#Christmas2019
Here you go for a little sneak peak into our electronics box. LED's, Camera and Motor are connected, comms. and power supply are working. Only thing missing are the sensors for measuring environment conditions in the module. You're looking at countless hours of hard work πͺπ¨βπ ~fs
We're on our way to @ZARM_de for the Integration Week. That's the first time our Experiment leaves the laboratory! In Bremen we're gonna do some testing and check if everything works properly. Fingers crossed for not loosing any parts during vibration testing! π #RoadToRexus ~fs
