@midnight_sonne I say it for the dog. 🤓 She always looked up at them when she was a puppy— I know she doesn’t need to know the word but I say it anyway.
@ChugachMtnBlues But what is the actual problem with competing against trans girls? Is it that cis girls might lose races? Because anyone looking to compete at a high level would have their times as a record of their achievement, esp. in sports like track and swimming.
@purrenrage I really like the voter information in the state mailers or League of Women Voters mailers. I use the judge recommendations from those too. And it’s so easy to vote from home like an open book, open internet test!
@chibio@JamesFrye That was my go-to when I had a habit of keeping a small notebook back there. I’d iron it into the inside (trying to keep the hole closed) and it was nearly invisible.
@Taraballs Half of my internet wasn’t working this morning. I turned my cell service off and back on and it worked again. Not sure if it’s a me problem, an anchorage problem or something bigger. 🤷♀️
@Megtedge Today was my first mostly-regular commute since early December! Still a snowbank blocking my view of oncoming traffic at one intersection but all the lanes are there!
@AlaskaKnitNat Still doing a 3 point turn backing out of my driveway (also in a cul de sac). They widened the streets around us but didn’t clear the cul de sac!
@NathanLunaAKTN When I moved here I thought Great Alaskan Pizza Co was the same as Little Caesar’s but today Little Caesar’s is head and shoulders above— so good— and the pizza portal is so awesome and futuristic. 👍
@tomhewittnews Sector 21. Assets: the best weather in town, great parks, access to the airport. Dangers: dense housing with no space to store snow. Lots of small plane noise. Moose.
@scooterkendall In Michigan they use plows that actually throw the snow away from the road. The graders here seem to work good for small amounts of snow. Not sure it’s worth switching methods but you’d think the city could have some plows that move snow better.
