He was involved in two of our most threatening moments (relatively speaking) of the first half, crossing from the left then receiving the ball in the box down the right. Meanwhile if he's higher up the pitch, the kind of misjudgement that led to the second goal doesn't happen.

We started the second half with Fernandes in front of the defence; Bentancur and Tonali ahead of him. If we're going to do that, I really don't see how there's any argument to not play Bergvall as our most advanced midfielder.

I'd get Fernandes on for Gallagher and move Bergvall up to 10. Tonali not exactly showing his value either though, and Tel might want to consider himself lucky that we're short of options on the wing. Maybe bring Solanke on and move Richarlison to the left.
