Senate Democrats have invoked the Rule of Five.

This is a rare law allowing five senators to legally compel the DOJ to release all Jeffrey Epstein files.

Schumer says this is not a political stunt: the DOJ has until August 15 to comply.

The rule means the DOJ must produce the documents unless it claims narrow exemptions.

According to the Senate Judiciary Committee, the Trump administration instructed the FBI to flag any Epstein-related documents that mentioned Donald Trump.

The review involved about 1,000 FBI personnel working around the clock to sort through more than 100,000 records.
