Why I paid 37 SOL for the @BULLTOSHI_NFT Mythic Air Alien.

I've been around crypto a long time in fact, I was mining BTC in 2013 on a $35k/month electricity budget (actually blew up spectacularly). I was still here last cycle and saw what happened with @blknoiz06 and SOL@$8, WIF etc. Was cool to see someone so publicly make brave calls and be right a lot. I got SOL early and that was a nice W. I passed on WIF (oops).

Fast forward to solana:9cRCn9rGT8V2imeM2BaKs13yhMEais3ruM3rPvTGpump - when he endorsed the token publicly - I got involved and immediately made a big bet on that token. I've been around long enough to know the potential with that and now I see even more potential seeing the stuff that's been built so quickly around it.

I started looking at things that were getting built around ANSEM and found Bullpen NFTs and tried pretty hard to get one of the kings but they were raffled and I wasn't able to get one. I investigated that project and liked it a lot. But, it was about that time when I first saw a @BULLTOSHI_NFT. I believe that the first one I saw was a zombie and I thought that was really cool - zombie pixelated bull NFT. It looked amazing.

I found the @bulltoshi06 account (the creator of Bulltoshi) and Magic Eden and started looking at bulls. I figured out pretty soon that I had missed the mint but that I was WAY early to this project. There's some risk in that but when I looked at the bulls, their attributes, traits and started interacting with people, I sensed that there was a lot more to this project than I initially thought.

I decided to buy like 10 and started looking at traits and was able to find some really cool rare bulls that I was excited about. I had no intention of changing my PFP to a bulltoshi or anything like that. Before I knew it, I found the Bulltoshi group chat and that's when I really started figuring out what this could be.

I was just kind of lurking in the group chat and I started figuring out that the amount of talent already involved in Bulltoshi was unusually, CRAZY HIGH. I kept thinking WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE IN HERE. If you check out @ElienMosk and @lumen0xx you will see what I mean quickly. There were people (too many to name) who were smartAF, artisticAF and good writers as well as strategic thinkers. Also - I saw something that is needed to make projects succeed - huge ENERGY people like @Kingansem_. You would have to join the group chat to know what I mean but there is so much energy and momentum happening.

I knew I had to act quick and bought the cheapest Black Bull (9.5 SOL I believe). I wanted a black - ANSEM is The Black Bull token and that made strategic sense to me. My focus was 100% on getting rare bulls that might be impossible or very difficult/expensive to get later.

I don't know how I was so lucky to find this project so early and get invited to the group chat so quickly. Very grateful and I believe it was @MiaSolanaX who added me - THANK YOU Mia.

I would spend at least a few hours every day looking at bulls and their traits, really getting a deeper knowledge of what could be valuable in the future. I ended up looking at black bulls, zombies and aliens.

I was around for the crazy run of Crypto Punks and saw when the alien sold for $23.7M. The rarest stuff can be wildly valuable when projects succeed and while even common punks were sold for over $100k with those, the rares went for a crazy multiple over that.

When I was looking at the zombies, black bulls and aliens, I realized that right there, literally the #1 bulltoshi (#2 at worst, there's a good argument for @IvanT1111 PFP bull and actually blacks/zombies too) was sitting right there for 37 SOL. At first that seemed like a crazy overpay but I kept batting it around in my mind.

@MagicEden had the bull as the ONLY mythic-rated bull that was zombie/black/alien. Whether you like that system or not, ME has this bull as the #1 bull. I started to realize that this might actually be one of the biggest opportunities I will ever have:

- I was crazy early to this project
- The talent around this project is undeniable
- I actually love Bulltoshis
- I also love the look of the bull - literally probably my favorite bull with my favorite horns (bandaged) and like I've said 100 times, I love the clean looking bulls

I found myself thinking 'what if I just shocked everybody' and bought what I considered to be the #1 asset in this project?

I had also seen what happened already when I bought the black bull. The group chat sort of exploded - SOMEONE PAID 9.5 SOL for a black bull!!! That was the highest amount anyone had paid for one of those and since then, black bulls have sold for 14.3 and 19 SOL so now that was a steal.

I'll admit that the decision to spend 37 SOL used some game theory because once I decided that I wanted the bull, I could either put high bids and signal to other people that I wanted it, try to find the person who owned it and negotiate (sending another signal) or JUST BUY THE THING RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW.

Well, it's pretty obvious that I decided that what I was going to do was give myself a 100% chance at getting what I consider to be the #1 Bulltoshi and clicked that buy button for 37 SOL. My intention was also not just to signal what I valued the alien at, but what I valued the project at which is insanely, absurdly undervalued and still is.

I checked the group chat and people had already seen it. 'Someone bought the alien for 37 SOL!', 'Who bought the f****** alien - for once it wasn't me!' There was a lot of excitement, it was honestly really fund to see. It feels good to people when they figure out that someone else is placing really high value on things you value yourself. That's how I felt later when the other alien sold for over 37 SOL and the zombie sold for 19 SOL - very excited that someone else saw the value that I saw.

My plan was to keep this as a secret to myself - I knew it was probably an overpay to most people at the time at probably 100x floor price but I did secretly know - I GOT A FREAKING ALIEN and it's my favorite alien.

Since I got my hands on the alien, I have seen the community around Bulltoshi grow a ton - even further than what it was before. In a lot of ways, it's similar to ANSEM where the community has grown much faster than the market cap which is saying something because the market cap and floor price are 3x what they were when I got involved.

The reason I decided to write this post and share my story is that I have seen so many people in the Bulltoshi community be courageous - buying $tbull and Bulltoshis on dips and be public and share their stories and creations. This is not in my nature in fact my intention was to get involved just to lurk and watch the show. The bravery that I have seen in other people made me want to be brave myself and be an active participant who contributes and helps others to see the vision of both ANSEM and Bulltoshi.
