@adonis_jae@CellHendrix@mike_daddino I think the best player in Knicks this series is OG. He’s pretty consistent defensively and offensively. He’s FG% is also top notch.
Chuck on the Spurs historic choke job:
“We saw the DUMBEST basketball team in the history of civilization...the San Antonio Spurs helped the New York Knicks win this game by doing some of the STUPIDEST ass stuff I've ever seen on the basketball court"
@WorldWideWob One of the Spurs’ problems is their lineup construction. Wemby is tall as hell, but most of their guards are average. If Wemby has to close out on the 3pt line, there’s nobody left protecting the rim, especially against guys like OG or KAT. Spurs really need to add a real PF.
@Giants_muse That should’ve been a Flagrant 1 on Wemby, and you could elevate for a Flagrant 2. Being physical is fine, especially if someone’s grabbing your jersey, but it’s never okay to shove a player down by the head area.
@TheGeekMcPeek@Playoffcity True. I’m impressed with Shai’s game yesterday. That’s the MVP we need to see. Less falling and flopping. Except on this play.
@BShulkes@way2elevated@londonstheory Again, OKC had the best bench in the league this season. So it’s hard to argue that the Knicks had more shooters than OKC.
But hey, the Knicks definitely have a shot at winning the series. I’m just saying it’s not gonna be easy.
@THENYKGURU@londonstheory Atlanta improve their defense. They actually in the top 10 defensive teams after the regular season. You can’t tell me atlanta wins those 2 games for just their offense. Defense always exists on winning.
@BShulkes@way2elevated@londonstheory What gives OKC the edge is their bench. You cant expect your starting 5 to carry the entire series. We all know depth matters especially in a long playoff run. Look what happened to OKC. They lost Ajay in the middle of the series. That took away OKC’s ball handler off the bench
@bustaminds@knicks_union Same defensive level but Vassell has a little bit consistency in offense than Hart. Especially on what he played against OKC defense.
