@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp my case originally started on December 19th. I finally got a resolution today but only after coming on here and getting the bbb involved. Lessons were definitely learned. Thank you for FINALLY resolving.
Guest books nonrefundable reservation. Asks to cancel and a refund. I say "No", they called @airbnb who contacts me. This company had the nerve to ask me to give the person a refund "in good faith" after how I've been treated and also knowing they won't refund their fees.
Wrote to @AirbnbHelp help again and the process goes like this. I post here, the say they have DM me, the DM says someone will help, no one answers ever on airbnb and then they close the ticket. Should bbb be the next step? What legal actions can one take?
You have a complaint about customer service when you are a guest, just wait for the feedback email. You have a complaint when you are a host and there is nothing. Tell me we are disposable without telling me @Airbnb@AirbnbHelp
@AirbnbHelp FYI no real help in that reply as per usual. This is why I say people need to stop hosting their properties on airbnb until they learn to appreciate their inventory. We can be replaced, that's why airbnb does nor care.
And it happened again. Customer service refuses to help the host, messes up and then just closes the ticket because its easier than taking responsibility. @Airbnbhostin@Airbnb
@AirbnbHelp it actually has not been a long time as the last message was on Monday. Why do I post this? Because this is the "help" hosts are provided with. Be weary! Again DO NOT BEND YOUR RULES FOR GUESTS cause airbnb will not look out for you.
Mind you in my case I refunded a guest, airbnb customer care refunded the wrong amount, I've been calling and messaging for month now. Did airbnb refund their fees? No. But they always ask the host for good faith actions.
In case anyone was wondering, this is all the "help" @AirbnbHelp and @Airbnb customer service will provide. Switching ambassadors so resolutions get screwed up and asking your email over and over followed by a "we made a note".
@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp I have learned my lesson and I hope other people learn too that hosts are disposable and no one cares about us. So this whole "good faith" stuff they asks us to do with the guests....DONT DO IT. Airbnb won't do it either.
@Airbnb I would recommend not to host because airbnb is not going to take care of you. Customer service will screw up and tell you oh well sucks to be you.
