Gary Morton, Partner at Hamilton Ross Solicitors @AirdrieSols, was randomly selected to nominate his preferred charity to receive a £500 donation from AlphaBiolabs and chose Beatson Cancer Charity – a cause close to his heart.

Founded in 2014, Beatson Cancer Charity is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by cancer, with the aim of ensuring that no one faces the disease alone.

Gary said: “I’m truly grateful to AlphaBiolabs for enabling this generous donation to Beatson Cancer Charity. The work that the Charity does is invaluable, and I’m delighted to support it in this way.”

@ScotGovJustice is there any word of an announcement on the process for applying for Funded Legal Aid traineeships? You announced the scheme in October but still been no mechanism announced to implement the scheme. The delay has prejudiced legal aid firms. @IanMoir5
