@LenniCoffey @Independent has fallen for a fake vid of Singapore passenger and UFO on landing at ZRH 17/01. Vid shows A320 wing, but the only Singpore landing that day was an A350.

The video is clearly fake...just listen to the audio!

The pilot's guess is then gold plated & converted into an official government fact by the UK Airprox Board who say "The drone was..." & the media say "UKAB, the official body for investigating airproxes, concluded that 320 people almost died...". Nonsense!

2019205 particularly troubling; we know there wasn't an Inspire 1 present. We told UKAB & gave contact details for data source. They didn't make contact & published a known false report anyhow. @NeilLancefield

@GazTheJourno @NeilLancefield Inspire 1 is pretty unique & definitely not present. He had a maximum of 1.5 seconds to spot it & ID it - during a stage of flight that he would be 80% eyes inside looking at instruments. Airline pilots have mistaken full size helicopters for drones previously at this location.

@GazTheJourno @NeilLancefield Don't forget that UKAB reports are _purely_ eyewitness accounts. There is _zero_ corroboration. Human visual perception relies on all sorts of biases, and assumptions. If this pilot knows a DJI Inspire 1, and he sees something, his brain is more likely to jump to that conclusion

@GazTheJourno @NeilLancefield Various _official_ sensors in this area (inc. types you are familiar with), they are very clear - there was no DJI Inspire 1 present. They have detected drones as far North East as Highbury and as far South West as Bognor Regis previously - never in FRZs of any airport.

@dronelaws @PCMag Very useful for us if this became like FlightRadar24 & receivers could detect drones & feed them into a central server. We could then know for (nearly) sure if a drone was present in an airprox. And with 360 Radar Ltd it could also feed into Sky Demon in realtime for GA pilots.
