Dear AnedhivehiRaajje,

I don’t understand why you are getting furious over Honorable @HKurusee tweet. HK is right, the public will talk. For the sake of MDP, HK simply reminded MDP leadership that such a video exists. If MDP had endorsed @BondeM4 , @HusenAmr , or @ilyas_labeeb , HK would not have mentioned that there was a video.

MDP is a party that has ruled , twice and is now trying to win the 2028 election. We, the taxpayers, pay more than Rf 10 million to MDP every year.

When the MDP leadership endorses someone for the position of Deputy Chairperson whose sex video has been leaked, it raises serious questions. Fine, it was a matter of his “ gratification “ or pleasure, and everyone is entitled to a private life. But the fact remains that the video was leaked. Therefore, I do not think it is appropriate for him to be appointed Deputy Chairperson of MDP.

We should start implementing standards that prevent people with serious ethical issues, corruption allegations, or questionable conduct from being appointed to top positions in the government, Parliament, or political parties. Only then can we build a better society and encourage greater discipline and accountability among our people.
