Being a mother means being completely and totally overwhelmed (in the best possible way) by love, joy, responsibility, and selflessness. Ya Allah give us the ability to raise our children in the best possible way upon quran and sunnah 🤲
Komai zaka yi, ya zama addini shine farko. You look up and ask the Islamic rulings regarding the thing you’re about to do. Have a realistic system that works, put in the efforts and make du’a.
A government employee (salary earner o) buys properties his lifetime pay cannot cover. Lives like royalty. You ask simple questions. Suddenly you are a hater. Corruption is fine. Curiosity is the crime.
Being the richest black man on earth, with net worth over $30bn, but still facing multiple troubles is enough to tell one that life will never be easy for anyone! Just face your issues head on!
@BashirElRufai Exactly. If you have not walked in his shoes, know what he’s experiencing before and after he set up that refinery, you can’t blame him. Call him monopoly veteran, it doesn’t matter.
Once you hear the Adhan of the prayer, leave everything and perform ablution and start walking to the Masjid. Your ablution is a source of the expiation of your sins. Your walking to the Masjid erases your sins and raises your status. Your being in the masjid early earns you the status of the one that’s already in prayer. Making it to the first row attracts the mercy of Allah and the dua of the Angels. Your meeting the First Takbir behind the Imam is a step towards making it to forty days of meeting the First Takbir which frees you from Hell and hypocrisy. May Allah make it easy for the Muslims to observe the obligatory prayers.
some of you are walking love letters, and you don't even realise it. you light up rooms, shift atmospheres, and inspire people just by being you. it's such a precious gift
Our Baba
He would make the joke and join us in the laughter. That was our Baba Buhari.
Behind the image of a firm and disciplined leader was a man of warmth, humility and quiet humour. He took us not just as aides, but as his children. He guided us with a fatherly hand. Baba didn’t need to raise his voice to command respect, his character did that on its own.
We will miss his presence. We will miss his words , which are always measured, wise and rooted in truth. We will miss his leadership — calm in chaos, firm in storms and always anchored in principle.
For those of us who walked closely with him, who learned at his feet, who saw the man beyond the title, his memory is a personal treasure. A treasure we will carry in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
Goodbye, Baba!
Girl to Girl:
There are traits your mum may have exhibited that growing up, you never liked…
But I’m telling you for free that if you are not intentional or conscious enough, you’d find yourself exhibiting same traits.
