majority of the issues women face in our society would probably be reduced if men, and especially islamic scholars, started preaching more about how women should be treated. the Quran repeatedly talks about treating women with kindness, care and respect. but somehow the conversation is often centred around women’s obligations, modesty, obedience, and men having the right to marry four women.

A woman was abused and beaten by her husband while she was four months pregnant. I posted about it here, and hardly any of these men engaged or even called for justice for her. They literally ignored it.
But let me post about a wife fighting back, or a woman demanding a divorce after being abused, and suddenly everyone will come out to condemn her and throw me into hell. 😂😂
The hypocrisy in Arewa is honestly too much. You’ll defend the abuser’s reputation before you defend the woman he abused.
