This isn’t just a film. It’s our villages.
The trailer of @vinodkapri’s PYRE is out. It’s the story of Aama and Bubu, an old couple in their 70s and 80s, living alone in a small Himalayan home. Waiting.
We know this story. Children gone to the cities for work. A phone call once a week. Empty terraces, locked doors, doli carried on shoulders. And a quiet fear in every hill village: that one day, there won’t be enough people left to carry them on their last journey, or anyone left to light their pyre.
PYRE releases in cinemas on October 30, in Hindi and Malayalam.
Go watch it. Then call your Aama and Bubu.♥️
@ArjunSi73438963 if u are not in high positions army is inherently very hard for u , most of the retired one have a unknown urgency in them as well as aggresion and alchohol is a solution for people to stay alive it is not the problem itself
People don't realize but pahad is full of boomers with pstd durring their time in army and how the hills has a dire effect on one's own psyche, in my village every 2 year a man commits sucide out of nowhere and young children who lost their sanity when they were 18-19
reminds me, there was a girl who had a habit of laughing at midnight while reading texts from her boyfriend, disturbing her hostel mates. She did the same thing at home, and her brother got curious and told their parents about it, so they married her off. Lol
My leftist sister ragebaited me today and then I told my sanghi family about my sister's bf who is from another caste.
Now they are going to marry her off soon😭
Government should read the sign, Dhami has done more damage to State & BJP , then anyone else by giving more time to influencers then common people of Uttarakhand.
Good to see people in streets asking for basic healthcare , hospitals and infrastructure.
