@KatherineJWu
As a Hawaiʻi resident, I die a little inside every time we are not included in maps of the U.S. We have experienced a lot of colonialism to not be included in the idea of “America.”

@NPRrelving Ron - what role do you think gerrymandering might have had in a Biden win by 4 million, but congress and the senate remaining basically the same?

[Aito Simpson Steele @Aitofele]

@kenrudin Ken do you think the long weird history of gerrymandering had anything to do with a Biden win but congressional stasis?

@voxdotcom @LoisParshley @zhoyoyo @pulitzercenter Hawaiʻi is not included in the first chart but DC gets status.

[Aito Simpson Steele @Aitofele]

@zhoyoyo @voxdotcom @LoisParshley The first chart has 49 states and DC listed. Is there a reason Hawaiʻi wasn’t included?

@Frigidaire Their answer was “no.”

[Aito Simpson Steele @Aitofele]

Hey there @Frigidaire I am looking for a replacement for my stackable Affinity washer ATF8000FS2 that will still let my compatible Affinity dryer sit on top. Do you fine folks have any suggestions?

Thursday – the best thing about comparisons is that something is always more “something” than something else, but today’s pickings are slim. I guess I watched some @PreacherAMC while I finished folding the laundry. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Wednesday – got to visit my daughter’s class as they did some early morning snorkel training in the pool. I played the part of “volunteer lifeguard”. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

My niece and her son had dinner with us today. Also hiked part of the Nuʻuanu trail. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

I went solo snorkeling in Hanauma Bay. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

I got to be a part of a wedding today – which is always awesome – but the big news is everybody is home! My wife is back from camp and my kids are back from my mom. Now back to work! #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Saturday – Birthday party on top of a mountain! Water balloon fight with my kids. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Thursday – I got to record a piece for international television that you might see sometime next year. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Friday – Sent my wife off to scout camp and my kids off to my moms for the weekend, then stayed up late cleaning the garage. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Wednesday – today! Walked up the hill on which I live #wilhelminawednesday. Made my sad goal of bringing my “flights of stairs” stat on Apple Health to an annual average of 20.0. #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Shoot, it’s Wednesday and I haven’t posted since Saturday. Here goes… #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday

Tuesday – back on the trail. #mānoamonday on a #hitthetrailtuesday. Though honestly the most exciting thing was someone had an “accident” in the car. 🤔 #whatsthemostexcitingthingyoudidtoday
