我自己从12 13年开始做跨境电商，15 16年是市场最有红利的时候，18年明显感觉走下坡路，19年彻底脱身。

币圈 17 18年那会，你实盘能有个1KW，那真是人人都仰慕的存在，现在没有一个亿，谁正眼瞧你啊？更不要说还有很多十亿百亿级别的。

后来者 怎么办？

OLD AI Infras/Applications VS NEW AI Memes

In the past, the VC AI tokens were designed as hybrids of AI & Crypto projects, either infra or application. But because of the TGE high FDV, its really hard for normal investors to join in a fair way when early stage. the profits mostly belong to founder team & VC & CEXs, not for communities. On the other hand, most of the AI+Crypto projects are shits, with 0 added value to the world. So most of the old crypto AI Altcoins are over priced.

In the contrast, what we were cooking in the past month, the fair launch, free mint, pump fun tokens, their distributions can be a fair way for normal investors to join the game. The total supply all circulated at TGE, fair launch free mint, no vc (but sometimes inside investors:)

$GOAT has no utility, just a chat bot application, it reached 0.8 Billion MCap. $GNON has no utility, it was pumped as above 150M MCap before.

They are all in a different category in crypto, AI memes are different from the old VC invested AI infra or application tokens. Total supply circulated at TGE. fair launch, free mint.

One more thing, the AI memes are investing in the real web 2 AI innovations, instead of fake AI+Crypto Altcoins.

They are the category we can truly believe and it can work as a new way to invest in the future of AI industry, I mean the real AI industry in Web 2. It plays as a meta we can call it as AI meme, not the AI infras/applications we used to know.

BRC20, Cult memes and AI memes

Back to 2023, in Mar 2023, Domo unintentionally created BRC20 and deployed $ordi to commemorate Ordinals protocols. If you have heard of the crazy rich stories about $ordi $sats $pups $wzrd or puppets/OMB/Frogs, they are all fair launch/free mint/totally circulate at TGE, they all started to trade from low MCap to the thousands of X growth, they are all community assets. Many of my friends who joined the game early all became millionaires now, including me.

The meta were exactly similar.

Why BRC20/Ordinals/Runes and ETH/SOL/Base Cult Memes can survive now and outperform Altcoins?

They are all memes. $ordi/ $sats/ $pups/puppets are memes. $pepe $wif $popcat $spx $mog $degen are memes. $goat $gnon $act are memes too. They are all fair launch free mint and fully circulated at the beginning.

In May 2023, the whole month were insane, because of the crazy pump of 1000X $ordi when listed on Gate exchange, ppl started continually deployed/minted/traded a lot of new BRC20 tokens, they are all memes! Earlier than pump fun, BRC20 are the OG of token distributions as Fair Launch/Free mint/100% circulate. In that month(May 2023), ppl who minted or bought from Unisat/OKX marketplace all get a lot of profits, 100X 1000X happened normally. But even ppl who joined the bubble, they don't know what truly is BRC20. In fact, they don't have to know, they just follow the trends and join the gamble game, easy money.

Is it the same as what we were cooking for the new pump fun AI memes for the past 3 weeks? Same as BRC20. Some of ppl getting rich because of investing/trading $goat/ $gnon / $ai6z / $ACT early. But still I believe most of the ppl even who joined SOL AI memes they really don’t know what really AI memes are. They don't have to know. They just go with the vibes of the $BTC outflow and follow the liquidity, which is now what happened in AI memes and cult memes.

However, after May 2023, the following several months were the hardest period of time, ppl who were in Ordinals early continually lost profits, lost money, lack of liquidity. At that period of time, we were all very upset.We started to rethink what truly is BRC20. Only a few group of believers who diamond hands hold $Ordi/ $Sats and sold when listed on Binance in Nov 2023.

I’m not saying that all the AI memes are going to drop for a long time. I just want to highlight that maybe when the market is a little bit cooling down today, we can start to think, what truly is AI meme? Are they gonna be a big market next year or will lost attention when the new meta came?

AI meme can be a big meta, same as Cult Meme and BRC20/Ordinals.

Rn we are at the same stage as what we were at the end of May 2023.

After that time, until Nov 2023, ppl who held BRC20 and Ordinals all doubted their investment choice. Becausse $ordi dopped from $27 to $3, OPIUM dropped from 0.04BTC to 0.005BTC. Some famous Ordinals collection NFTs floor price dropped 80% or even 95%. During that time, ppl who chose to believe Ordinals/BRC20 they trolled themselves as 'Ordinals are dead'.

That was the hardest time for Ordinals OG. really hard. If you don't have faith, then NGMI. Because we trust the potential of Bitcoin and Ordinals, so we invest and believe in Ordinals/BR20. And we won eventually.

Same as now. We need to figure out whether you have a solid reason to support yourself to hold AI memes.

Most of the new AI memes would disappear and die gradually. Only a few AI memes communities are able to survive.

Who can survive?

Definitely those communiteis who really have insights about AI. Who really understand AI. What you invest and believe is more about community.

Those comunity tokens who focus on the real innovations.
