Heartbreak steals your innocence.
I remember being so deeply in love and so naive. there’s a bittersweetness when I think back, knowing I’ll never be that soft or vulnerable again.
a cheating man is the worst. but you know what’s even worse? it’s the man who pretends to be a good man. but in reality he’s a pathological liar (who never admits) lustful‚ manipulator‚ and good at using the victim card. the man who always play the victim mostly has the most to hide.
My therapist told me:
“When a person grows up feeling unseen, they learn to love by over-giving. They pour into everyone else, hoping that, one day, someone will finally pour back into them. So they become the care taker. The fixer. The one who shows up, even when no one shows up for them.”
And the hardest part? Deep down, they're not trying to be strong. They're just waiting for someone to do for them what they've spent their whole life doing for everyone else.
I know this is gonna piss so many people off but When you put pressure on a weak man, pressure to communicate, to lead, to commit, to grow. He doesn't rise; he downgrades. He doesn't step up; he steps out. And more often he runs straight into the arms of a woman who demands less, expects less, and challenges nothing. He'll say you're too much, when really you were just too real. Too honest. Too in tune with what you want and need. He'll label your standards as "pressure" because he was never built to handle a woman who knows her worth. So Ladies if a man says "You're too much for him"...HE IS DAMN RIGHT, let him find less, don't shrink yourself for a low effort MAN!
In a relationship you can't just do what you want. you always have to think about how it will affect your partner. That's what this generation doesn't understand.
