If you were working at a company for years and then they you got a new boss, be honest, would any of these bother you
1. the new boss is 20 yrs younger then you?
2. the new boss is a different gender or race then you?
3. the new boss just started, you have been doing it for years?
I'm retired. My husband and I saved a long time. We brought our bills down so we could live (mostly) on SS. We were thrifty. Now we write books, but don't make any money off it. We don't care. We're happy in our dumpy little house.

Bad takes from the Daily Wire today, IMO (although I love them).
@benshapiro thinks ppl should never retire & @MattWalshBlog thinks they should just suck up that they’ve been sold an empty promise in social security w/out a grumble.
These are easy takes for rich men.
Ben can work as an intellectual until he’s 80 & Matt doesn’t need the social security.
These are harder pills to swallow for ppl who have been breaking their backs for a lifetime and can’t conceive of that kind of work until they’re 75 or ppl who need to see returns from the money they’ve paid into to make it through their final years. 🤷🏻♀️
Social Security is a scam, but ppl are reasonably panicked that they’ve been duped.
Whenever I hear a word I know, but never say, I ponder it. Like, "beseech." I like how it sounds, what it means and even how it looks when spelled out. But I've never actually said or written it. Have you?
What would you "beseech" me to do? Example sentence, please.
I've always been a child or had a child... or a grandchild in my life. I think the angst/joy/terror of having kids helps, but how can you know if your life's always been one way?
I don't need to know my characters went to the bathroom. Thanks anyway. Although in one of my books, I mentioned them going into the forest to do their morning business. BUT it had a lot to do with the plot. Not just the day to day, I have to pee stuff.
Good morning #WritingCommunity !! Today’s #WriterDailyQ!!
I’ve always heard mixed opinions on this, so now I’m wondering about all of yall! How do you feel about books omitting things like characters going to the bathroom, doing their morning routines on-page etc?
