#DonaldTrump wins the 2024 US Presidential election in a big way. This development is expected to lead to major changes across the globe.
– Donald Trump has promised to end the #UkraineWar immediately after taking office. This will stop the millions of US dollars Biden is draining down in Ukraine and also improve #USRussia relations.
– Trump has vowed to repay #USdebt, which now stands at a whopping $35 trillion and is ever-mounting under Biden. This could strengthen the US economy as well as give a boost to the world economy by preventing the bubble burst.
– Trump has strongly condemned the barbaric violence against #Hindus and other minorities in #Bangladesh and also called out the chaos there. It thus appears that the new regime in Bangladesh and also the Trudeau govt in #Canada that have anti-India ‘external support’ may get adversely affected.
– Besides, the unilateral ceasefire announced by #HouthiRebels of Yemen after Trump's victory indicates there will be drastic changes in the geopolitical equations in the #MENA and the #IndoPacific regions.

India successfully hosted its biggest multinational air force exercise, #TarangShakti.

#AirForces from 10 countries took part in ‘Tarang Shakti’. The next phase will start in two weeks, with more countries actively participating.

India’s #Tejas Light Combat Aircraft showed its strength alongside other modern fighter jets like the Rafale, F-18, Eurofighter, etc.

The #DRDO also displayed Indian-made military technologies and weapons at the ‘Int’l Defence Aviation Exposition 2024’, held along with Tarang Shakti.

Due to enhanced regional cooperation with air forces of friendly nations, Tarang Shakti will boost India’s #AirPower in the Indo-Pacific, especially as China poses a growing threat.

India’s #DefenceIndustry grows 25% & achieves the highest-ever #DefenceExports of $2.5 bn in 2023-24, reveals Economic Survey 2023-24. About 100 Indian companies are now exporting a wide range of #DefenceEquipment.

With this, India continues to be among the ‘#Top25 Defence Exporters’ nations in the world.

Moreover, to augment #AatmanirbharDefence, #Budget2024 has given the highest allocation, about 13% of the total, to the Defence Ministry with ₹1,72,000 cr earmarked to strengthen Armed Forces capabilities, ₹1,05,518 cr for domestic capital procurement. In addition, ₹518 cr is allocated to the iDEX scheme to fund technological solutions by startups, MSMEs & innovators, which will expand the #StartupEcosystem in Defence.

After almost 800 years, rebuilt #NalandaUniversity is inaugurated by the PM at Rajgir, #Bihar.

#Nalanda Univ, founded in the 5th century, was the world’s best and #LargestUniversity for about 800 years until it was destroyed by invader Bakhtiyar Khilji in the 12th century.

Presently, @Nalanda_Univ runs 6 schools and has regular students from 24 countries. It also has collaboration with 17 member countries of the #EastAsiaSummit.

Rebuilt at a cost of ₹1,749 crore, the new campus houses 24 large buildings. Its #library houses over 3,00,000 books and #manuscripts, making it one of the largest libraries in the world.

The newly revived Nalanda University has been set up to reestablish India as the #KnowledgeCentre of the world that it once was. Nalanda is another key piece in India’s #ActEastPolicy, which aims to project #IndianWisdom and #SoftPower globally.

This clears the way for the creation of the long-pending Integrated #TheatreCommands (ITCs) that will bring more efficiency & jointness to the operations of all the 3 wings of the #IndianArmedForces.

Until now, military personnel were governed by the respective service acts. Now, the ISO Act empowers #triservices military commanders with full administrative and disciplinary powers over the Army, Navy & IAF personnel serving under them without disturbing the unique service conditions of each individual service.

This huge #MilitaryReform, employing resource optimization and strategic planning, will greatly boost the Indian Armed Forces’ offensive-defensive capabilities. It will also establish better #CommandAndControl structures, greatly augmenting #IndianMilitary prowess.
