The visuals highlight the locality's recurring drainage problems during the monsoon, with residents once again calling for improved infrastructure to prevent repeated flooding. With more rainfall expected, commuters have been advised to remain cautious while travelling.

Very good job by “Beer Lachit Sena” going from house to house in Uriamghat of Golaghat district, and chasing away the suspected Bangladeshi Muslims. They don’t give 7 days time like Government give. They are giving just 5 minutes time to go, and Hijaban’s and their Husbands oblige and flee within 5 minutes.

Thousands and Thousands of Assamese and tribals people came out on streets of Dhemaji district with ‘Mashals’ shouting “Bangladeshi Hosiar” “Bangladeshi Go Back” in support of @himantabiswa Government for eviction of suspected Bangladeshi Muslims from forest areas, and they asked all Bangladeshi to leave Dhemaji district in next 15 days or they will take action.
