Haralur Road deserves better. Garbage dumps, toxic smoke, overflowing drains, broken footpaths and dangerous potholes have become our daily reality.
Despite countless complaints, little changes on the ground.
It’s time to come together and demand the clean, safe, walkable and breathable neighbourhood we deserve.

Seeking a Solution to Mobile & Internet Connectivity Issues for the neighbourhood residents of Parappana Agrahara Central Prison

I met Shri Amit Agarwal, Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, and brought to his attention the serious disruption of mobile communication and internet services in the areas surrounding Parappana Agrahara Central Prison due to the installation of the Tower-Harmonious Call Blocking System (T-HCBS) and high-frequency Wi-Fi jammers.

Residents in the vicinity are facing considerable difficulties in their daily lives. The disruption has become particularly challenging during medical emergencies, for students attending online classes, and for employees working from home. The proximity of Electronic City, a major corporate hub, makes reliable connectivity even more essential for many residents and professionals in the area.

While prison security and preventing unauthorised communication by inmates are of utmost importance, it is equally necessary to ensure that legitimate communication needs of the surrounding residents are not adversely affected.

I requested Shri Amit Agarwal to look into the matter and explore a suitable technical solution that safeguards prison security while restoring reliable mobile and internet connectivity for the local community.

Shri Amit Agarwal responded positively and directed the concerned officials to examine the issue and take necessary steps to resolve it at the earliest.

I will continue to follow up on the matter to ensure that the residents of the surrounding areas do not face unnecessary hardship in their day-to-day communication.

Dear @PriyankKharge @alokkumar6994 sir, we are residents living around Parappana Agrahara Central Jail and have been suffering for years due to the prison jammer. This is no longer just a connectivity issue—it is a public safety issue. Calls disconnect frequently... 1/4

WHY THIS PARTIALITY? @comm_blr_south
Incomplete road work in Silver county rd! 🚧
Fresh asphalt laid on the silver county rd —but the connecting road towards Kudlu via SJR bluewaters has been completely ignored. The junction is left uneven and unsafe for commuters. 1/3

Dear Home Minister Shri @DrParameshwara , Please understand how the T-HCBS & jammer systems actually function. Before your Next meeting with TSPs @airtelindia @reliancejio @Vodofone2 @BSNLCorporate @TRAI @TCILHQ on Dec 22,2025. Please ask this @CivicOp_india @ChristinMP_

The Karnataka prison system is rotten with corruption, enabling officials to amass illicit wealth by granting inmates full mobile network access. This criminal enterprise is directly responsible for the network deprivation suffered by surrounding residents, - 1/3

I took an early morning bus to Mysuru, from Bengaluru. ₹210 fare. Comfortable KSRTC bus and a world class highway for fast travel.

But I got a few thoughts.

1) Nearly 30 of the 50 passengers were women. Just show Aadhar and travel free. Is this fair? Is it equality?
2) 20 men are paying for the entire bus. Is that fair?
3) Saw an old man struggling to find notes to pay, while a well off young woman on video call next to him, travels free. Is that fair?
4) If the state is having so much surplus income, why not make it free for these 20 men also? Universal free bus service like airport shuttle service.
5) All over the world, subsidy and welfare is given to those who can't afford. Here, we have women from two rich cities like Bengaluru and Mysuru, traveling free just because it is available. Is it sustainable?
6) Couldn't the same freebie money be used for garbage clearance, pothole fixing in cities, providing water to farmers?

Many more thoughts. But realized that we have entered the vicious cycle of freebies for votes. Tough to get out of it in the near future.

Not a ball was bowled in these ten minutes!

Yet, No one left the stadium, there were no commercial breaks and it’s considered as the best piece of cricket commentary without a game.

DCM Sri @DKShivakumar has requested us not to curse Bengaluru for the flooding issues. But we don’t curse the city – we just want our voices heard! Our daily lives are heavily impacted.

The condition of Hosa Road, from Nandini Junction to Rayasandra Circle, is terrible and demands urgent attention.

Residents of Rayasandra and Gattahalli, including citizens from 15 apartment complexes, protested today demanding basic necessities like proper roads, sanitation, water supply, and street lights.

This video shows sewage water flowing from apartments and layouts onto the roads, creating a dangerous situation for pedestrians and two-wheeler users.

Around 20 schools in the area use this road daily, forcing residents, including children, pregnant women, and seniors, to endure these conditions.

Rayasandra is one of Bengaluru's most neglected areas. Despite paying taxes, people here suffer daily. Please help highlight their plight. #Bengaluru #Rayasandra @osd_cmkarnataka @CMofKarnataka @DKShivakumar @siddaramaiah
