@Lux907Lux Probably not. Last time I was going through the Bearing Sea to the Artic Ocean was in 1995. The pressure ridges in the ice were sticking down up to 268 feet. 32 feet was not enough room to go through, so we backed up for 1/4 mile to find enough room to go underneath the ice ridge
@Lux907Lux I operated in the Artic Ocean & Pacific Ocean in submarines for 11 of my 20 years in the Navy. The Mariana Trench was best for quiet operations. Our max depth was also 400 meters. The Bearing Sea is only 300 feet (100 meters) deep. We had to backup & go around icebergs in winter.
