Youth Akali Dal Punar Surjit President Talwandi announces new office bearers.

Chandigarh-: September 3 () Under the directions of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit President Giani Harpreet Singh, Youth Akali Dal President Gurjit Singh Talwandi announced the state-level and some district presidents, in which S. Malkit Singh Hundal was appointed as National Senior Vice President and Chief Spokesperson, S. Kulwinder Singh Mehmi as General Secretary, S. Harjashan Singh Jassi Doomwali as General Secretary and Jaspreet Singh Dhillon as Organizing Secretary. Apart from this, District Mansa Rural Advocate Amandeep Singh Bhalaike, District Ferozepur Rural Dr. Mohan Singh Lalka, District Navshahr Urban Mr. Amit Kumar Sethi Thopia and District Nawanshahr Rural President S. Arvinder Singh Pallia have been appointed.
Youth President S. Talwandi congratulated all the office bearers on getting the responsibility and also gave instructions to intensify the party activities in their respective districts. ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-: 3 ਸਤੰਬਰ () ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਢਿੱਡ ਭਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੱਕੀ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਸੜਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਉਤਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਮੰਨਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਲ ਕੱਢਣ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ। ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੜਕ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਟਰਾਲੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੱਸੇ ਇਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਉਜਾੜਨ ਦਾ ਸਬੱਬ ਜਰੂਰ ਬਣਨਗੇ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਸਦੇ, ਹੱਕ ਮੰਗਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੀ ਆਖਿਰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪਾਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਚੁਣਨੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਛੇ ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਦਰਵਾਜਾ ਖੜਕਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਬੇਸਮਝ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਮਾਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਚਲਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੂਹ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਥ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

Chandigarh, September 3: In a press statement, Shiromani Akali Dal (Reunited) president Giani Harpreet Singh said that farmers, who feed the people across the country, have been forced to take to the streets today to raise their legitimate demands.

He said that instead of accepting the farmers’ demands, the government is not even making an effort to hold discussions with them and find a solution.

Giani Harpreet Singh said that governments must remember that these “villages” settled on trolleys along the roadsides will certainly become a reason for governments to be ousted. The people whom the government sees as its enemies and who are merely demanding their rights are the very people who will ultimately cast their votes to elect the government.

He further said that earlier, instead of paying more than six lakh employees the money legitimately due to them, the government had approached the Supreme Court. He said that the incompetent leaders do not even understand how they expect to run governments while denying the legitimate rights of farmers and employees.

At the end of his statement, Giani Harpreet Singh expressed full solidarity with all farmers’ and employees’ organisations and said that the Shiromani Akali Dal (Reunited) would actively support their struggle.

Chandigarh, September 1: Veteran politician S. Raviinder Singh, who is known as a scholar in Sikh political circles and is also the patron of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Rejuvenated), stated in a written press release that, after Master Tara Singh, the Akali Dal has found a president who can write well-reasoned articles in newspapers on important and sensitive issues.

He was referring to the article written by Giani Harpreet Singh for Ajit newspaper on the issue of turning “religious identity into national identity.” In the article, Giani Harpreet Singh has, through national and international historical examples, demonstrated that when political leaders place religious identity at the forefront, it can become a cause of division among people.

S. Raviinder Singh said that the Akali Dal having a well-educated president who is deeply rooted in the religious sphere should be considered a matter of good fortune for the Sikh community. He said that whatever policies such a president formulates in consultation with party leaders are bound to be effective and beneficial for the Panth and Punjab.

He added that while such policies should certainly be formulated through consultation on the party platform and with experts, the right to officially announce and implement them must always remain vested with the party president.

He further stated that party leaders may continue to express their views and respond to issues falling within their respective areas of responsibility, but official party policy statements and statements concerning agreements or understandings with other political parties should be issued only by Giani Harpreet Singh.

Those who interfere in this area of authority, he said, should face strict disciplinary action on the party platform.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ -: 27 ਅਗਸਤ () ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਮਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੁਛ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹਮਦਰਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੰਧ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਵੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਹਿਮ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੀ ਏ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਦਾਲਤੀ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਆਨਾ-ਕਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਦਕਿ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੋਲੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਆਵਾਜ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਫਲ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਅੱਜ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰਿਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੋਸ ਜਾਹਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਚ ਅਫਸਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਿਸਟਾਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੋਵੇ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਲਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਰੱਖ ਲਈ। ਫਿਰ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਗਾਊਂ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਜੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਉਥੇ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਤਾਂ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੜਤਾਲ ਖਤਮ ਕਰੋ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਤਾਨਾਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਰਵੱਈਆ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਗੱਲ ਬਾਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਸਲਾ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਮਾਂ-ਪਿਓ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਵਧਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਉਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

Punjab Government Should Set Aside Its Arrogance and Listen to Employees’ Concerns with Sympathy – Giani Harpreet Singh

Chandigarh – August 27: Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar-Surjit) President Giani Harpreet Singh, in a written press statement, said that instead of turning every issue into a matter of prestige, the government should listen to the employees’ concerns with sympathy.

He said that the government has failed even to read the clear message written on the wall. Suffering from a misconception, it appears to believe that it can suppress everyone through coercion. This is why the government has even hesitated to comply with court orders regarding the payment of Dearness Allowance (DA).

He said that employees, in large numbers, had successfully reached Chandigarh in an effort to make their voices heard by the government. Today, when the employees have exercised their democratic right to express their protest by taking lawful leave, senior officials are being directed to prepare lists of all those who have taken leave, as if an attempt is being made to intimidate them.

He further said that earlier too, the government had scheduled a meeting in Chandigarh without any proper invitation. Later, without any prior notice, the venue of the meeting was changed to Jalandhar. When the employees were even willing to travel there, the meeting was cancelled on the condition that they should first end their strike.

Instead of adopting such an authoritarian attitude towards employees, the government should have engaged in dialogue with them and resolved the issue. The government is like a parent to its employees, while the employees are the hands through which the government functions. If the government continues to escalate the confrontation, it will ultimately be the government itself that suffers.

Ram Rahim’s Parole Is Like Rubbing Salt into the Emotional Wounds of Sikhs – Giani Harpreet Singh
Chandigarh – August 25: Former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and President of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar-Surjit, Giani Harpreet Singh, in a written press statement, made serious allegations and said that the repeated granting of parole to the so-called Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim is like rubbing salt into the emotional wounds of Sikhs. He said that governments appear to be taking pleasure in the pain caused to the Sikh community by such decisions.
He said that the elderly mother of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara is waiting in the final stage of her life to meet her son. Panchayats across the district passed resolutions and submitted them to the government seeking his parole. All the leaders of the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha are ready to take responsibility for his release. However, the government refused to grant him even ten days of parole.
The entire Sikh community jointly marched towards the Governor House, and a Punjab bandh was also observed, but the government remained unmoved. Instead, the leaders participating in the march were subjected to police action and cases were registered against them.
On the other hand, a person convicted of rape and murder is being granted parole several times a year. Governments have also forgotten that when Ram Rahim was sentenced, the violent unrest created by his supporters resulted in around 40 deaths. Court employees, police personnel and members of the press also became victims of the violence.
Yet today, without any valid reason, he is repeatedly being brought out of jail, despite being the principal accused in the incidents of sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Giani Harpreet Singh further said that those dreaming of forming governments in Punjab must understand that by challenging the sentiments of Sikhs and helping someone accused in the sacrilege cases, they will not be able to secure even a foothold in Punjab.
At the end of his statement, Giani Harpreet Singh demanded the immediate release of Bhai Jagtar Singh Hawara, Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana and all other Bandi Singhs.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-: 21 ਅਗਸਤ () ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਝੱਲ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੰਦ ਲਈ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ, ਵਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਿਜੀ ਅਦਾਰੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਹੱਕੀ ਮੰਗ ਲਈ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਦਾ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਾਸੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਾਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਡੰਡੇ ਦੇ ਜੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੰਦ ਦੀ ਕਾਲ ਦੇਣਾ ਆਖਰੀ ਰਾਹ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੋਲ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਹਜਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਜ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਅੱਥਰੂ ਗੈਸ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੁਛਾੜਾਂ ਮਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਰਚੇ ਵੀ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬੰਦ ਦੀ ਕਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਹਮਾਇਤ ਦਿਤੀ। ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਸਮਝ ਜਾਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਉਠਾ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਨੀ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

Chandigarh, August 21: President of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit, Giani Harpreet Singh, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Punjab who, despite facing inconvenience and difficulties, extended their full support to the Punjab Bandh called in support of the release of the Bandi Singhs (Sikh prisoners).

By closing educational institutions, businesses, and other private establishments across Punjab, the people of Punjab demonstrated their solidarity with this legitimate demand and made it clear that they would not allow governments to violate human rights.

Giani Harpreet Singh said that when governments, instead of listening to the voice of ordinary people, attempt to suppress it through the use of force, calling for a Punjab Bandh becomes the last resort.

He said that the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha had organized a march on August 15 to approach the Governor of Punjab and present its demands. However, instead of listening to the legitimate concerns of thousands of people, the administration used tear gas and water cannons against the protesters and subsequently registered cases against them. It was against this backdrop that the call for the Punjab Bandh was given, which received full support from all sections of society across Punjab without any complaints.

Giani Harpreet Singh warned the governments that they should understand the message conveyed by this response: people are willing to bear personal and economic losses in order to oppose injustice.

He therefore urged the governments to take the path of justice at the earliest and immediately release the Bandi Singhs.

Chandigarh, August 21: In a joint press statement, Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad, Chief Spokesperson and Senior Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit), and Tajinder Singh Pannu, Media In-charge, stated that, following the call given by the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha and with the support of all Panthic organizations, a widespread and complete response to the bandh was witnessed across Punjab today.

They expressed their special gratitude to the shopkeepers, business community, students, employees, and the people of Punjab as a whole for making the peaceful Punjab Bandh a major success.

They stated that, in accordance with the directions of Giani Harpreet Singh, President of Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit) and former Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the party's district presidents, office-bearers, and workers extended their full support to the Punjab Bandh.

With the support of Panthic organizations, shopkeepers, traders, and small business owners in major cities of Majha, Malwa, and Doaba, as well as in towns and villages across Punjab, kept their shops and businesses closed in support of the call. The bandh continued peacefully and uninterrupted until 2:00 PM.

During the bandh, representatives of Panthic organizations made every effort to ensure that the general public did not face unnecessary inconvenience. Special passages were kept open for patients, ambulances, and students appearing for examinations at schools, colleges, and universities, so that they could safely reach their destinations.

Nevertheless, they expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to citizens during the bandh.

The two leaders stated that the bandh received strong support from various sections and organizations, including the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Nihang Singh organizations, Damdami Taksal, All India Sikh Students' Federations, farmers' organizations, and all factions of the Shiromani Akali Dal, among others.

One of the principal demands behind the bandh was the release of the Bandi Singhs. The Centre and state governments were warned that all Bandi Singhs who have completed their sentences under Indian law should be released immediately.

In conclusion, Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad and Tajinder Singh Pannu once again thanked the people of Punjab for their overwhelming support and said that, in the future as well, everyone should come forward with the same unity and solidarity to safeguard the rights and interests of Punjab.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-: 19 ਅਗਸਤ () ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਸ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਡਾਲਾ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ ਸੁੱਚਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਛੋਟੇਪੁਰ, ਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਦੂਮਾਜਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਥ ਵਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ 21 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਬੰਦ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਰਹੱਦ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਬੰਦ ਦੀ ਕਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਲ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਅਤੇ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਮਾਰਚ ਉਤੇ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਚੇ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਇਨਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਚਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਦਬਾਅ ਵੀ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਪਸੰਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋੜ ਜਵਾਬ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ 21 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਬੰਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਕਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਬੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਸਫਲ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਜਾ ਭੁਗਤਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

National Insaaf Morcha’s Punjab Bandh on August 21 Fully Supported – Shiromani Akali Dal Punar-Surjit

Chandigarh, August 19: In a joint press statement, Shiromani Akali Dal Punar-Surjit General Secretary S. Gurpratap Singh Wadala, Senior Vice President S. Sucha Singh Chhotepur, S. Prem Singh Chandumajra, and Youth Wing President S. Gurjit Singh Talwandi said that their organization fully supports the Punjab Bandh called by the Qaumi Insaaf Morcha on August 21.

The Qaumi Insaaf Morcha, which has been carrying out a protest at the Chandigarh border demanding the release of Bandi Singhs, has given the call for the bandh. The call has been made to demand the release of Bandi Singhs and to protest against the use of force during the peaceful march organized by the Morcha on August 15, as well as the registration of cases against its leaders.

The leaders said that the government is not only refusing to release the Bandi Singhs but is also attempting to suppress the voices of those demanding their release through force and the registration of cases.

Therefore, they appealed to justice-loving people across Punjab to cooperate in observing a complete bandh on August 21 in order to strongly oppose what they described as government high-handedness.

They said that leaders and workers of their organization would join hands with the people to make the bandh successful and build pressure on the governments to secure the release of the Singhs who, despite having completed their sentences, have remained imprisoned for decades.

S. Wadala stated that S. Harvel Singh Madhopur is a well-educated, honest, and hardworking person, holding *M.A., B.Ed., and LL.B. degrees. With extensive administrative experience, he is a **retired District Education Officer (Secondary)* and has also served as a Principal at several institutions.

S. Madhopur has also served as the *General Secretary of a teachers’ union* and the *Bharatiya Minority and Dalit Front*. At present, along with his association with Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit, he continues to work with several other social organizations.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-: 14 ਅਗਸਤ () ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਨਸਰ ਦੀ ਗੁੰਡਾਗਰਦੀ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਪਰਚਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਜੋ ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਜਾਇਜ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਮੰਨਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ, ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਝੀਂਡਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਜਖਮੀ ਹੋਏ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਜਾਇਜ ਮੰਗ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੱਡੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਮਰਨ ਮੰਡ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਪਰਚਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਉ ਪੁਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਜਾਇਜ ਫੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਿਹਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ। ਜਦੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੰਗ ਵੱਲ ਕੋਈ ਤਵੱਜੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਵੱਸ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੜਕ ਜਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਧਰਨਾ ਲਾਉਣਾ ਪਿਆ। ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਲ ਮੰਨਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਇਹੋ ਰਾਹ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸਨੇ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਅਪਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਖਮੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਜੁਲਮੀ ਤਸ਼ੱਦਦ ਦੀ ਸਖਤ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਮੰਨੀਆ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਖਮੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੁਲਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਜਗਦੀਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਝੀਂਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਖਮੀ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੜਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤਯਾਬੀ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਬਿਆਨ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

Chandigarh, August 14: In a press statement, Giani Harpreet Singh, President of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit, stated that a protest was held yesterday by Sikhs in Haryana demanding the registration of a police case against an anti-Sikh individual from Ludhiana for allegedly engaging in hooliganism.

He said that instead of addressing this legitimate demand through due legal process, an attempt was made to suppress the voice of the Sikh community through force. During the incident, Jathedar Jagdish Singh Jhinda, President of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, along with several other people, was injured.

Giani Harpreet Singh said the protesters had a legitimate demand that a case be registered against Gursimran Mand, who was allegedly involved in driving a vehicle into people, that the father and son be arrested, and that the Sikhs who had been unlawfully detained be released.

He stated that when the administration failed to pay attention to these demands, the Sikh community was compelled to stage a protest and block the road.

Giani Harpreet Singh said that in a democracy, peaceful protest is one of the means available to people to make their grievances heard and seek justice. However, he alleged that the Haryana Police, which he said had already developed a reputation for being anti-Sikh, resorted to a lathi-charge, resulting in injuries to members of the Sikh community.

He strongly condemned what he described as repressive use of force and demanded that the legitimate demands of the Sikhs be accepted immediately. He also called for action against the police personnel responsible for injuring people during the lathi-charge.

“We pray for the Chardi Kala and speedy recovery of Jathedar Jagdish Singh Jhinda and all the Singh who were injured,” he said.

“An Attack on Anyone Visiting a Gurdwara to Pay Respects Is Highly Condemnable — Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit”

Chandigarh, August 13: In a joint press statement, Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Secretary General of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit; Senior Vice President Sucha Singh Chhotepur; Parminder Singh Dhindsa; Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra; and Gurjit Singh Talwandi, President of the Youth Akali Dal, strongly condemned the murderous attack on Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Sukhbir Singh Badal was injured in the attack, which took place at Sri Hazur Sahib.

The leaders said that Sikh gurdwaras are shared places of worship for the entire Sikh community, where devotees not only pray for their own well-being but also seek Sarbat Da Bhala — the welfare of all humanity. They said that a life-threatening attack on any devotee who comes to such a sacred place to pay respects is an extremely unfortunate and condemnable incident.

The leaders also expressed concern and surprise over how an attacker could gain such easy access to a leader who was under Z-category security. They said the circumstances surrounding the security breach should be thoroughly investigated.

All the leaders prayed for the speedy recovery and good health of Sukhbir Singh Badal.

ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਬੰਧ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਦੌਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਪੂਰਨ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਨਿੱਖਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਜਗਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਛਾਂਗਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪੰਥਕ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਮੁਖੀ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਗੁਰਬਚਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਛਾਂਗਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਪੰਥਕ ਲਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਸਨ। ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਈ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਜਗਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਨੇਹ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਪੰਥਕ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਿਤ ਰਹੀ। ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪੰਥਕ ਮਸਲਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਦੋਲਨਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਢੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੋਢਾ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ।ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਜਗਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਨੇ ਧਰਮਯੁੱਧ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਮੁਖੀ ਸੰਤ ਜਰਨੈਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਚਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਸ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਦਮਦਮੀ ਟਕਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਸੰਤ ਬਾਬਾ ਹਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਭਿੰਡਰਾਂਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ ਇਹ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਪੰਥਕ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਸਮੀਕਰਨਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ ਤੇਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ-: 11 ਅਗਸਤ () ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪੁਨਰ-ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਨੂੰ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਦਿਵਸ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸਮੁਚੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੇ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ 'ਤੇ ਪੰਥ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੀਰੀ ਪੀਰੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਬੰਦੀਛੋੜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਜੀ ਤੋਂ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਲਈ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਜੋਂ 1920 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ 11 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਛਤਰ ਛਾਇਆ ਹੇਠ ਪੰਥਕ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਮੌਕੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਬੰਦੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਆਪਣੀ ਕੈਦ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਦੁਗਣੀ ਸਜਾ ਭੁਗਤ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਜੇਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ। ਭਾਈ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜੋਆਣਾ ਪਿਛਲੇ 31 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਸਜਾ ਤੋਂ ਲੈਕੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਫਾਂਸੀ ਚੱਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਹਨ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਭਾਈ ਜਗਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹਵਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਭਾਈ ਹਵਾਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰੋਲ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਸੁਣਨੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਬੰਦੀਛੋੜ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੰਦ ਖਲਾਸੀ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਲ੍ਹੇਆਮ ਵਿਚਰ ਸਕਣ। ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਕੌਮੀ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ 15 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਉਲੀਕੇ ਗਏ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਘਿਰਾਓ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦਫਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੀ ਮਜਬੂਤੀ ਲਈ ਤਨਦੇਹੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲਈ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਨਰ ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਰਮਨ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ। ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ 20 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਸੰਤ ਹਰਚੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੌਂਗੋਵਾਲ ਦੀ ਬਰਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਲਈ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢੀਂਡਸਾ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਲੌਂਗੋਵਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਲਾ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਮੀਟਿੰਗਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ।
