Daemon isn't a hypocrite, Daemon has a body of work that even the Conqueror and Visenya would respect....and Daemon has been right about everything every step of the way. If Viserys listened to Daemon, there would be no Dance of Dragons. If Rhaenrya listened to Daemon she'd have all her sons.
everytime i see a recent jacela edit that shows them since they were children my heart breaks for baela bec jace has been her constant her entire life. to see him die in battle while she desperately tried to save him would definitely traumatize her 😔
Cregan Stark is basically what the North represents at its best, stubborn honor taken to the extreme.
In House of the Dragon, Cregan Stark arrives late to the Dance of the Dragons, but when he does, he doesn’t play politics or switch sides like many others. He treats his oath to Rhaenyra as absolute, even after her death, and enforces justice during the “Hour of the Wolf.”
What makes him stand out is that:
He wasn’t chasing personal gain
He wasn’t swayed by shifting power
He believed in duty over convenience
But there’s also a darker angle:
His loyalty is so rigid that it becomes uncompromising, even in a war where most people are just trying to survive.
So yeah, he’s admirable, but also a reminder that honor in Westeros can be both noble and dangerous depending on how far you take it.
