Following the Assam Cabinet meeting, HCM Dr. @himantabiswa announced the extension of the Fair Price Shop licence renewal deadline from 30 June to 31 December, providing much-needed relief to stakeholders.

The Cabinet also approved mandatory online registration for homestays, a major step towards promoting transparent, organized and tourism-friendly services across Assam.
