Be a loner.
That gives you time to wonder,
to search for the truth.
Have holy curiosity.
Make your life worth living.

The Ordeal of Prasanna: A Tech Entrepreneur’s Fight for Justice.
Prasanna, a renowned tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Rippling (valued at $10B), now finds himself on the run from the Chennai police—hiding outside Tamil Nadu. His crime? Fighting for his rights as a father in a contentious divorce battle.
From Tech Innovator to Fugitive
Born and raised in Chennai, Prasanna was ranked the #1 coder in India before moving to the US to build technology companies. He and his wife, Dhivya, were married for ten years and have a nine-year-old son.
Their marriage ended when Prasanna discovered Dhivya’s six-month-long affair with a man named Anoop. The revelation came not from suspicion, but from Anoop’s wife, who provided chat messages and hotel booking confirmations as proof.
What followed was an intense divorce negotiation. Dhivya demanded millions of dollars in settlement. When discussions didn’t go her way, she retaliated by filing a police complaint against Prasanna in Chennai, accusing him of domestic violence. Later, she escalated the allegations to include rape and circulation of explicit videos—claims that Singapore police investigated and dismissed as baseless.
A Legal Battle Across Borders
While Prasanna sought a divorce in India, Dhivya filed for one in the US, attempting to maximize her financial claims. She then abducted their child to the US to strengthen her case. However, an American judge ruled in Prasanna’s favor, declaring it an act of international child abduction and ordering the child’s return.
To resolve matters, both parties agreed to settle in Chennai and signed an MoU—Prasanna would pay approximately ₹9 crores and ₹4.3 lakhs per month, and they would share 50/50 custody of their son.
However, when Dhivya refused to follow the MoU’s terms, particularly depositing their child’s passport in a common locker to prevent another abduction, Prasanna moved the court for enforcement.
Police Harassment and Unlawful Detention
Instead of abiding by the court’s process, Dhivya filed a kidnapping complaint against Prasanna. In response, the Chennai police stormed his hotel late at night. Prasanna narrowly escaped with his son.
Despite this, the police continued to hunt him down. The harassment didn’t stop with Prasanna. His mother’s house was raided. His friend, Gokul, who had merely helped him, was unlawfully detained in Bangalore, forcibly taken to Chennai without a warrant, and kept in custody for 3 days—without being presented before a magistrate. Police allegedly pressured Gokul to force Prasanna into surrendering, even using his detention as leverage to silence Prasanna on social media.
Prasanna’s case raises urgent concerns about abuse of power, misuse of legal provisions in matrimonial disputes, and the lack of due process in police actions.
His fight is no longer just about a divorce—it’s about ensuring that justice is not dictated by influence and intimidation.
As this battle unfolds, one must ask: Should a husband fighting for his rights be treated like a criminal?

Breaking up is hard enough without the added bonus of a criminal record. Thanks, BNS 69, for turning heartache into handcuffs. Who needs closure when you have court dates? #RollbackBNS69#BlackDay
