Until we instil such laws in our constitution and follow them strictly, no matter who is involved, we will still be grappling as a third world country.
@AkaseAgabo@BusinessDayNg Itโs part of why the West is light years ahead of us. Anything that threatens their national (economic) security is treated like terrorism/treason.
Until we start killing corrupt politicians &business men this country ainโt going nowhere!
Same problem is enabled by our customs
@RealOlaudah You will do all these things until you fall victim. Then, you will start undoing all that you have done. Who says the president's relative cannot be kidnapped?
@geniesgenes@BusinessDayNg Products from Nigerian textile mills were taken across the border, re-labelled as foreign products, and shipped back into the country.
@asemota That's her opinion. Other very successful women in their careers who are equally successfully married and are enjoying their marriage may have a different opinion.
This very malaise happened to Nigerian produced textile products. Now, it is happening to Dangote fuel. When would we really start being truly Nigerians?

One of the hardest truths in life is this:
Not everybody will become rich.
Not everybody will become famous.
Not everybody will build a company, own a private jet, or grow a 1-million-follower account.
And that is okay.
Life is not unfair because only a few people stand on the stage.
Life would be impossible if everybody needed a stage to be happy.
Most people will live ordinary lives.
They will love and be loved.
Raise children.
Help friends.
Pay bills.
Attend weddings.
Attend funerals.
Laugh until their stomach hurts.
And leave behind memories in the hearts of people who knew them.
โThe world remembers a few names. Families remember entire lives.โ
Social media can make normal life look like failure.
It isnโt.
There is dignity in being a school teacher.
There is dignity in being a mechanic.
There is dignity in running a small business.
There is dignity in being known by twenty people who genuinely love you instead of twenty thousand strangers who barely know your surname.
The older I get, the more I realize:
A peaceful life is not a consolation prize.
For many people, it is the grand prize.
This is my first post today. I hope this reassures you that your own space is secure and that you can find your peace in it, no matter what.
