I have been wondering how people at large interct with Hugging Face. I think I am part of a bubble where my posts reach people like me, who know HF and the products we have. This time around I want to reach more general people, who might have started their career in AI, or are hobbyists, or do not know about AI at all (or just have not used it).
If you are one of them, and are reading this post, please spare a few minutes and share what you know about Hugging Face and how do you (or intend on) using it. This would help me a lot in shaping my communication in the platform. Thanks in advance. 🤗
What a weekend.
1,500 signups. 24 talks over 4 days. 100 judges now in review.
Thank you to every speaker and hub behind the Global South AI Safety Hackathon.
A few hours left to submit:

lowkey one of the best things about ML right now is how many legit research paths exist outside the traditional PhD route
- MATS
- OpenAI Residency
- Anthropic Fellows
- DeepMind Student Researcher
- ML Collective
- FAR. AI
- Mila
- INSAIT
- EleutherAI
- Redwood Research
- Apart Research
- Encode
- AI2, LAION
- Berkeley BAIR
- Stanford SAIL
- MIT CSAIL
- Vector Institute
- HuggingFace also quietly has some insanely strong open source contributors btw
stupidly exciting time to be in ML if you genuinely like building and researching things
The post is open-source.
So if you think there's a missing bus, feel free to contribute here: https://t.co/51eBYX4b9w
P.S. I'd appreciate stars on my repo too. ;)
Thanks!
Someone asked me today, "which buses go from Baruipur to Mukundapur?"
I didn't know. Google didn't give a simple answer either, and I realized this shouldn't be this hard. 56% of the Kolkata population relies on buses for daily commute.
So I built a website that allows you to find routes for buses from any point A to point B.
It's simple, but if it even helps a single person, I'd be happy. Let me know what you think!

1/8 Can AI help us disagree better? Today we're launching Habermolt — a platform where your AI agent learns your views and deliberates with others on your behalf.

Introducing Alchemyst AI.
Finally a context backbone for your company that "just works" with ANY AI agent that you throw at it.
From regular conversations to remember to thousands of documents you want to refer, we got your AI agents covered.
@ariG23498 Your call honestly. Depends on the type of crowd you're trying to find. I think floating the form again may bring in more people, it's just logistically harder.
