I've been a little quiet everywhere, focusing on work and my health. But hooooboy.

I just found nearly 500 PAGES of tasty Rassa backstory and character development stashed in an 8 year old kobo LOL

I'd been avoiding looking back at that piece of my life for a long while, but reading through it all my heart is so full of sparks.

It was like reliving a wildly vivid dream that unlocked so many character motivations.
I am so full of motivation and inspiration ✨

Honestly I'd recommend golden spot amadillidiums to anyone. They're just so fun to watch throughout the day and they're so active and curious.

They look like lil bison up close and it makes me happy

#isopod driftwood update; they finally skittered far enough for me to get in and rearrange things a bit, and following ran all over it like kids at a new park 🥳

My happy lil bison children~ even if they did have a small lion king moment...

Which eventually turned into a party.

Side bonus - this driftwood holds moisture really well. I was worried my springtails were disappearing but low and behold; they've all gathered again on the drift! Its become a cozy spot outside their pond ♡
