@woodsgirl@NaturelsWeird They live in Europe as well as N America and are the animal originally called elk. European settlers who had never seen one saw big deer and called them elk, and then needed a new name when they came across these guys.

@lartist Since a lot of channels have a pretty narrow focus on the type of content they produce, if you tell YouTube not to recommend those channels, it should at least help to reduce the number of those you see

Growing up, my Muslim family never celebrated Christmas. This year I am not going home, because pandemic, so my roommates are teaching me how to have my first proper Christmas.
