Gukesh would have spent 5-6 crores over the last 7-8 months to win the world championship (as he should. Our athletes should be well funded). Anand walked with three floppy disks, two shirts (bought from rex fashions by his mum) and destroyed the entire edifice of soviet chess just through sheer genius. Fischer first and then Anand. Only two guys were able to do it. Generations to come will not understand the greatness of @vishy64theking .
