What has been happening on this network lately has prompted me to think about originality. They demand that we be original in order to be valued. They want the network cleansed of imposed, copied content. As an artistic soul, what has occupied my mind for years is my own ability—or inability—to be original. I have the impression that nowadays everything has already been painted, written, and invented, and that it is very difficult to find one’s own expression in this ocean of art. To be creative in a way no one has been before us. And what are the criteria, if any, by which they will recognize this originality in us? It is all relative, and it is all a kind of game played with... US. Yet we agree to this game, hoping that we are the ones who are special, different, and innovative. As for me, I am here because it suits me—not always, and not too much—but being a part of this creative machinery is not a bad thing.
