@Blond3bra1ny@WingsScotland Somehow they are able to assure us that no Policy Development Funding was stolen by Murrell. Either they are lying or they had systems that could ring-fence funding.
@staylorish VAT would not have been reclaimable on the Campervan as it was meant to be for campaigning. VAT would only be recoverable on party merchandise for resale and costs relating to conferences where space was sold to exhibitors.
@MarkMcLaugh1in@AnasSarwar@JohnSwinney VAT cannot be reclaimed on campaign expenditure - was Sarwar told the Labour party claimed it? If so then HMRC should be investigating Labour. It wouldn't be the first time a Sarwar was associated with VAT fraud.
@V0ICE0FREA50N@jimac1111 The problem was that the only person signing off expenditure was Murrell. But Sturgeon should have ensured that wasn't the case.
@MohammadAsif_1@NicolaSturgeon Boris Johnston had a slice of cake and a can of juice that was offered to him by his staff. Sturgeon demanded he resign due to "Basic Decency".
@jollyman56@Scott_Wortley It took the police 4.5 years to uncover embezzlement going back 12 years. This was probably the first thing they discovered given that it was the most expensive and one of the last things Murrell bought.
