Good fortune to be allocated two tickets for Wimbledon 2023 for the middle Sunday. Saw Maria Bouzkova (Czx) V Marketa Vondrousova(Czx). Marketa becomes Wimbledon champion, the first unseeded player, saw Fraces Tiafoe (USA) V Grigor Dimitrov. Strawberry and cream a must at Wimbl.

Recently attended the Hinton Lecture at the Royal Academy of Engineering at Prince Philip House. The lecture was delivered by Thomas Thune Andersen from Ørsted.

In September of this year before the start of school in Tanzania, I delivered two teacher training sessions to the primary and secondary teachers at a charitable organisation in Kibaha approximately 25 miles from downtown Dar es Salaam.

I today visited the British ambassador residence in Tanzania to write a few words in the book of condolences. Having meet the Queen for lunch at her Golden Jubilee celebration we’re I also had the opportunity to have few words with her and the duke of Edinburgh. Amazing 70 years.

Today I visit the Tanzania 🇹🇿 National Mine Stadium. 60,000 capacity to watch the local football derby Yanga v Simba . The stadium was packed at the kick off . Final score Yanga 2, Simba 1. Many disappointed Simba supporters.

Visited Dar es Salaam gymkhana yesterday. Meet up with the tennis couches to plan a new Tennis tournament “ The Shully Junior (Open) Tennis Tournament” . Received 100% support for the event from the couches at the gymkhana.

Yesterday visited the famous tea and snack shop in the middle of DAR es Salaam town.A-Tea shop . My first visit to this shop was around 1965 with my parents nothing has changed except the owners. The food not as I remember .

Had a great day at Wimbledon yesterday, centre court with my son.
N. Djokoivic v. K. Anderson: K Boulter (GBR) V. Sabalenker: O. Otte (GER) v. A. Murray five sets. Ended at 11.00 pm.
Wimbledon is not Wimbledon without Strawberry’s 🍓.
