Jimmy Corry has lived on this Belfast street for 13 years. Now he’s homeless. He’s lost sentimental items forever, including his dad’s possessions.
He told me that he shares the anger many feel about the attack on Monday night but that burning down houses won’t solve anything.
🔥🚨VIRAL NOW: This man in the Philippines was filmed as he was checking his Dentist Licensure Exam results on his laptop. His father stood beside him and so he wouldn’t be alone as he waited.
The result of the test showed PASS, which makes him an official licensed dentist. His mother, brother, and grandmother broke down in tears, as the celebrated together.
I have realised that no matter what we do in a game there will always be ridiculous comments about it. If you think our wheels are falling off because we have drawn a game then you are in for a shock. We have only lost 5 times in our last 51 Premier League games. At least come up with a better argument.
Every week I hear how tough it is to play against 10 men, the moment we do it though, it's apparently easy and we are crap because we couldn't win the game. It's honestly funny watching the mental gymnastics from some people.
We have had a tougher week than any other team, mentally and physically. I mean this with the most respect to the teams I mention, but Man City played Leeds, Chelsea played Burnley, and Liverpool played West Ham and Forest.
The reality is we are in a better position now than we were a week ago with these games now out of the way, but some of you are so thick you can't even see it. We were 4 points ahead of Man City, it's now 5 points, we were 8 points clear of Liverpool, it's now 9 points, and we remain 6 points clear of Chelsea.
Keep praying for our downfall. It will make it even more glorious come May.
We are nine games into the season, we have won 7, drawn 1, and lost 1. We have won our opening two Champions League matches without even conceding a goal. We have kept six clean sheets and scored 18 goals. We are second in the table, having already played at Old Trafford, Anfield, St James Park, and Manchester City at home.
We have accomplished all of this while integrating numerous new players and losing key ones, such as Saka, Odegaard, Saliba, and Havertz.
If you're moaning at this, then give your head a wobble. Whilst it hasn't been pretty in some games, we are winning matches, and that's all you should care about. Mikel is cooking, and I'm excited about it.
