AFREXIMBANK READY TO HAVE COUNTRY PROGRAMME FOR UGANDA
Finance Minister @henrymusasizi1 this morning received the new African Export-Import Bank Regional Director for East Africa,Humphrey Nwugo at @mofpedU
The Minister thanked the Bank for aligning its interventions with Uganda's Tenfold Growth Strategy,adding that @GovUganda is ready to work with the Bank to ensure that the projects in the pipeline are implemented.
@afreximbank Regional Director said the Bank is growing from strength to strength and is committed to supporting Uganda's growth journey towards the USD 500 billion economy.
He highlighted areas of interest along the ATMS,especially agro-industrialisation,tourism development and mineral development, including enablers such as infrastructure development.
Nwugo was accompanied by the Senior Specialist Client Relations ( East Africa) Farida Mukasa & the Manager Client Relations (East Africa) Daniel Katumba.
