Singer Tekno has shared his thoughts on how relationships have changed since the COVID-19 pandemic, saying love no longer feels as genuine as it once did.

Speaking during an interview with Cool FM, the singer said many people have become less willing to love wholeheartedly, adding that spending extended periods with loved ones during the pandemic may have changed how people viewed their relationships.

People got to spend time with their partners that period so maybe they got to realize they don’t really like them. I feel like since then, people have leaned into this not wanting to love as much.”

He also suggested that the changing attitude towards relationships is evident in society today, claiming that even the wives of respected public figures are now being approached by younger men.

“Marriages don’t work. You even have some of our legends’ wives getting chopped by some of the new boys.”

Tekno lamented what he described as the decline of genuine romance, saying love used to be at the centre of people’s lives and even dominated storylines in movies.

“There was a time where love was a thing, for real. Even our movies revolved around love. Now our movies are just clout and influencing. It doesn’t feel organic.”

The singer further stressed the importance of giving each other space in relationships. “If you can’t appreciate the absence, the presence doesn’t really make sense.”

Wallahi, I was shaken by this heartbreaking news.

A respected and kind man from Zaria passed away on the day of Eid. His wife & children had traveled to Zaria to celebrate Eid with family, leaving him alone at home.

For six days, no one knew he had died.

It was only today tht neighbors became concerned after noticing a strong odor around his house.

They knocked repeatedly but received no response. Later that night, a ladder was brought, & someone climbed over the wall to check on him. Tragically, they found him deceased inside the house, and his body had already begun to decompose.

May Allah forgive him, shower His mercy upon him, & make his grave a place of peace and comfort. May He grant patience and strength to his family.

This painful incident is a reminder to all of us about the importance of checking on our neighbors, especially those who live alone or have no close relatives nearby. No one should go unnoticed for days without anyone asking about them.

May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and have mercy on all deceased Muslims. Ameen. 🕊️💔

I’ve lived with a spinal condition (hunchback)since I was 7.For 22 years,my family tried 2 raise money 4 surgery,now as an adult i have accepted reality especially knowing d operation is not guaranteed to succeeded,d hardest part isn’t d condition,it’s being denied jobs😫😫
