I feel like Astral Chain as a series has a lot of potential to become at the very least, a trilogy.

Which could very well mean that Akira will be a high priority addition to the roster either in the next Smash game or as DLC if Ultimate becomes a service game.

Just a little while ago we found out that Astral Chain exceeded sales expectations.

That’s great news for any game, but especially for new IPs, as it usually means the company will make a sequel.
