- BOOK GIVEAWAY -
Please read the details carefully.
To celebrate the rich Viking heritage here in Scotland, I’m giving away a paperback copy of Norse Myths That Inspired Final Fantasy VII. This has nothing to do with the World Cup match between Norway and England later today. I mean, why would anyone assume that? The timing is just a total coincidence…
Anyway, the giveaway winner will be chosen at random tomorrow. All are welcome to participate. To enter, simply share/quote this post and leave a comment below (such as “I ❤️ Haaland”, in Nordic runes or otherwise).
Good luck!
@FFVIINovels So? When do we start?? Tonight?? Obviously you gotta be on Louisoix so I can chase you around the map. Also I saw Colin replied and it would only be right to honour his grandfather by being on his server.
@ffxiv_fragments We have very similar structures in Vienna too - google "Palmenhaus Schönbrunn" :) Since every place in the game is inspired by real world locations, it's very possible you're right. The Crystarium, in particular, used assets from a 2005 tech demo called "Rapture", though.
@EENlX I don't even think it was a bad/overdramatic translation, a lot of people just interpreted it way too dramatically. When I was first told about Y'shtola apparently dying from her aether-sight, I had no idea what everyone was talking about as I simply hadn't.
