As someone who has written multiple threads on HTX let me help you out:
-HTX will lie to your about their PoR mechanics.
-They constantly claim addresses on DefiLlama are “out of date” but make up reasons not to show new ones.
-They treat Tron assets as native in their accounting but refuse to show the backing of the BTC.
-They convert customer ETH to stETH on the backend and farm it until a customer redeems.
-The USDT listed is all in stUSDT. USDT goes out of HTX into Suns accounts, gets redeemed and then he issues stUSDT.
-He claims the underlying assets are in bonds, but has produced no credible proof.
-He’s done the same with Poloniex and TrueUSD.
-He then leverages on exchanges with his own funny money.
-He uses funnelled money to pay his teams in China under fake corporate names. The companies are nearly always in the name of his mom Yiyiang Jiang or his dad Sun Weike, or his dads second wife Li Jinmei
-One of these shell companies is Shenzhen Lanyu Network Technology Co. Ltd which has Yiying Jiang listed as a previous executive, and transferred it to Li Jingmei. This company is the Chinese shell company for the Tron blockchain.
-Yiying Jiang is now the registered contact for the Huobi Dubai entity.
They run the FTX playbook with fake cross chain assets and unbacked assets - even having a fake electronics company as a front for dealing with banks and Chinese regulators.
But their stuff isn’t backed, and the reality is most of Sun’s own employees are clueless to the crime and desperately dependent on getting paid, so they’ll simply trust him and misdirect.
@adamscochran I agree with this opinion. HTX told me on April 27th that they would pay the asset within 35 days, but it has not been paid yet. It is clear that it is related to this.
