We screwed up.

An issue that we didn’t think was a big deal actually turned out to be one for some of you: We added a debossed logo at the back of our newly developed extremely firm QuantumBase. Most people didn’t notice it until it was pointed out, but it can be felt slightly on the top surface.

Now, how do we deal with this?

1) If you don’t notice it or it doesn’t bother you, great.
2) If it bothers you, there’s good news. We quickly developed a solution: a CNC precision-cut insert that fits into the logo cutout. We already sent out a few and got positive feedback. The insert can be ordered for free on our website.
3) If the logo bothers you and you don’t want to deal with the fix, that’s completely fair. We’ll get you a unit for free from the next batch where this will be fixed. To keep things fair, we’ll ask you to make the current pad unusable. Send an email to [email protected] and we’ll sort it out.

In the 7 years that PMM exists, we’ve always tried to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and we’re not planning to stop. We’d rather try something new and fix it than play it safe and never move forward.
