Hello, Hon members of APG, sons and daughters of Acholi Land. I wish to give glory to Almighty God and H.E the President of the Republic of Uganda for appointing our own sons and daughters; Hon Onek Hillary Obaloker, Hon @norbertmao Mao, Hon @LillianAber Lilian, Hon Atim Beatrice Anywar, Hon Akello Beatrice Akori and Hon Acan Joyce Okeny in different positions of Authority.
I congratulate all our leaders for the trust exhibited in all of you at a time that as Leaders from Acholi, we are confronted with poverty that is hitting hard on our people as per current UBOS report released in March 2026.
I therefore wish to request that we find time and elect leadership of Acholi Parliamentary Group that will champion unity in the fight Against Poverty and corruption that has always rendered our people vulnerable.
I wish to state that I will not seek any leadership position in APG as I would like to focus more on my oversight role and fight against poverty in my District and my constituency based on the data released that we are the poorest District in Acholi subregion.
I thank you all and pledge unity with our leaders and the people of Acholi.
Ribe Aye Teko!!
Apwoyo!
Anthony Akol, MP Kilak North and Chairman APG 11th Parliament.

This afternoon, I officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony for Kidepo International Airport in Karenga District.
I reminded the wananchi that Karamoja has come a long way from the days of insecurity, cattle rustling and lawlessness. The restoration of peace has created the conditions for the Karamoja region to develop.
The airport will improve access to Kidepo Valley National Park, boost tourism, attract investors, create jobs for our young people and expand markets for local products. Already, more than 1,600 Ugandans are employed on the project.
I thank our partners from Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates for recognizing the immense opportunities that exist in Uganda and Africa.
Fellow citizens of Kilak North, the people of Acholi Sub-region, and all Ugandans,
As we commemorate Uganda Martyrs Day on 3rd June 2026, I join you in honoring the courage, faith, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the Uganda Martyrs who gave their lives for their beliefs.
@TugumeNelsonO I am happy to have visited ACP for the first time on 1/10/2025 and again on 24th and 25th January 2026.
I wish to thank Dr Nelson Tugume for a dream put into action. I was one of the doubting Thomas but there is all signs that the ACP will change Uganda and Africa.
Following our proposal to @OWC_ug, am happy that several tons of seeds are being distributed to farmers in the Amuru district. So far over 40 tons of maize has been distributed. I now urge the farmers not to sell but to plant these hybrid seeds.
Good evening, relatives and family! As I enjoy the cool breeze from the Atlantic Ocean at La-Palm Beach in Ghana, I reflect on 51 incredible years of life. I'm filled with gratitude for all the love and birthday wishes I’ve received from so many people. Thank you. @AnitahAmong
