The Quran recounts the plagues on Egypt (Surah 7:130-133): famine, flood, locusts, lice, frogs, blood, signs against Pharaoh.

But it goes silent on the NIGHT that gave the whole event its name and meaning: the Passover. 

The lamb slain, the blood on the doorposts, death passing over every blood-marked house. Exodus 12:7, 13.

The plagues are judgment ON Egypt. The Passover is salvation FOR Israel, by the blood of a lamb. The Quran keeps the judgment and deletes the salvation-by-blood.

And that deleted detail is the beating heart of the gospel.

“Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.” 1 Corinthians 5:7.

The Bible mentions the Passover over and over. Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, the Psalms, the Gospels, Paul, because it’s the master-picture of redemption: a spotless lamb dies, its blood is applied, and judgment passes over you.

You don’t lose the most-repeated detail in the Torah by accident.

The plagues showed God’s power to judge.

The Passover showed God’s way to save: not by your effort, but by applied blood.

The Quran kept the fireworks and lost the Lamb.

But the Lamb was the whole point. He always was.

The crucifixion gets denied in a single verse, and that verse is a linguistic riddle even its own scholars can’t agree on.

Surah 4:157: “They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it was made to APPEAR so to them”, wa lakin shubbiha lahum.

That phrase, shubbiha lahum, appears exactly ONCE in the entire Quran.

A hapax legomenon, a word that occurs a single time, so its meaning depends entirely on interpretation.

And Muslim scholars have never agreed:
Ibn Kathir and al-Tabari: God cast Jesus’ likeness onto someone else, who was crucified in his place.

But WHO? Some say Judas. Some say Simon of Cyrene. Some say a volunteer disciple. No consensus.

Some modern scholars: it means Jesus WAS crucified, but his enemies didn’t truly “defeat” him.

One verse. One word. A dozen contradicting explanations.

Now compare the crucifixion in the Bible: four Gospels, written within the eyewitness period, in complete agreement, plus the non-Christian historians Tacitus (Annals 15.44) and Josephus, who both record Jesus’ execution under Pilate.

Friend and enemy agree He died.

I was staking my soul on the single most disputed word in my book, against the single best-attested event in ancient history.

“Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures.” 1 Corinthians 15:3.

He wasn’t rescued from the cross. The cross was the rescue.

I always knew Joseph’s brothers threw him in a well. What I never noticed was HOW he gets out of it.

In the Quran, a caravan comes by, a man lowers his bucket for water, and he accidentally finds Joseph down there. They take him and sell him as goods. Surah 12:19.

So in the Quran, Joseph is basically FOUND. Discovered by strangers.

Then I read Genesis, and the brothers are far guiltier.

Reuben throws him in an empty pit, planning to rescue him later. But while Reuben’s away, Judah looks at a passing caravan of Ishmaelite traders and says: why kill him? Let’s SELL him. And they do. For twenty pieces of silver. Genesis 37:26-28.

The brothers don’t lose Joseph to a passing stranger. They traffic him. They pocket the silver. It’s cold, deliberate, and damning.
Here’s what I kept circling back to.

The Bible makes the brothers MORE guilty, not less. It names Reuben. Names Judah. Names the price. Names the buyers. It refuses to soften what they did.

That’s not a book protecting its heroes.

That’s a book telling the brutal truth.

And here’s the detail that wrecked me.

Twenty pieces of silver. A brother, sold for silver, by Judah.

Fast forward 1,700 years. Another descendant of Judah is betrayed and sold. For thirty pieces of silver. By a man named Judas, which is just the Greek form of Judah. Matthew 26:15.

The “sold for silver” detail… It’s a thread.

And the Quran’s version, where Joseph is just accidentally found, snaps that thread.

I used to say the Bible was the corrupted book.

But the Bible kept the silver, kept the betrayal, kept the guilt, because it was all pointing forward.

Joseph sold for silver, betrayed by his brothers, descending into a pit, rising to save the very ones who betrayed him.

That was always a portrait of Jesus.

The Bible kept every ugly detail because every detail was a signpost.

And they all pointed to the cross and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

When I was Muslim, I never understood why Jesus was called the “second Adam.” I believed Adam’s sin was a small slip-up that Allah waved away.

So I never understood why Christians made such a big deal about ONE man’s sin breaking the whole world.

Then it clicked through something Paul wrote.

“Through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin.” Romans 5:12.

One man, Adam, opened the door. And everything broke. Every grave, every funeral, every goodbye traces back to one man’s choice.

But Paul doesn’t stop there.

“For as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so through one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:19.

One man broke it. One Man had to fix it.

That’s why Jesus is called the “last Adam.” 1 Corinthians 15:45.

The first Adam reached for a tree and brought death to everyone.

The last Adam was nailed to a tree and brought life to everyone who’ll take it.

Islam told me the first Adam barely mattered.

The Bible showed me why the second one had to come.

Muhammed will not save you.
Allah will not save you.

The only one who can save you is this same Jesus whose teachings you oppose.

Muhammed is dead and remains dead because he rejected the only one who could have given him eternal life.

Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26)

If you reject Jesus, you will die.
But if you accept Him, though you may die, yet you will live. Everything He said, He demonstrated. He died and He rose again.

Read your Bible and get to know God. Stop being deceived by the lie that “we worship the same God” no, we don’t and never will. 👎

You hardly ever see a Muslim girl marry a Christian. Those people don’t joke with their faith; no matter how much they love you, they will never leave their religion for you.

Read the Bible.
Get to know God.
Stand firm in your belief.
Build a relationship with God.
Love God.
And raise godly Children for Jesus.

The return of Jesus Christ is going to shake the world.

And the most amazing part? Everyone will see Him. Every eye, everywhere on earth. Not just a few people, not just one country, the whole world.

Forget live TV, satellites, or the internet… this will be bigger than any technology ever invented. This event will break every record in history.

But it won’t just break records, some people will be biting their fingers in regret when they realize, “Wait… those Christians were actually serious.”

Then it will finally make sense:

“Ohhh… so that’s why they wouldn’t keep quiet.”
“That’s why they were preaching on the streets.”
“That’s why they were talking in buses and trains.”
“That’s why they kept warning everyone.”

At that moment people will understand… we weren’t making noise for nothing. 😅✝️
