Three men lost their lives on Monday protecting their community.
Amin Abdullah, the security guard and father of 8, stood in front of the gunmen so 140 children could hide.
Mansour Kaziha, a pillar of the mosque for nearly 40 years, called 911.
Nader Awad ran toward the danger to draw the shooters away.
They were fathers, husbands, pillars of their mosque. They chose others over themselves.
Our hearts are with their families and the entire Muslim community of San Diego.
Islamophobia kills. This is not a debate. It’s reality.

Please normalize reading ayatul kursi and "Bismillahi tawakkaltu 'alallahi wa la hawla wala quwwata illa billah" before you leave the house, we live in crazy world.
Thank you for asking sincerely.
In Islam, fasting is not only about hunger and thirst. It is a spiritual journey of self-control, healing, and returning to Allah. So yes, intoxicants like weed are forbidden because the Prophet (s.a.w.) Muhammad taught that every intoxicant is harmful to the mind and soul.
But committing a sin does not automatically cancel a person’s fast. His fasting is still valid if he avoids food, drink, and intimacy during the day. However, the sin can reduce the reward. Islam focuses on growth, not perfection.
Ramadan is like a hospital for the heart. Some people come in already healthy. Others come in broken, addicted, or struggling. The goal is not to shame them but to help them heal step by step.
The fact that he still prays Taraweeh and still fasts means he has not given up on God. And in Islam, that is powerful. One day, that same Ramadan routine may be the reason he quits completely.
We believe God’s mercy is always bigger than our mistakes. So instead of judging, Muslims are encouraged to advise with kindness and pray for each other because sometimes, the person struggling today becomes the strongest tomorrow.
That is the beauty of Ramadan.
Hi, I’m Bisola
This space is becoming a place where I show up more intentionally, share my growth, and build steadily as a Virtual Assistant.
I started my VA journey last year, learned a lot, paused, overthought, doubted myself and stayed behind the scenes longer than I planned👇🏽

I read the comments under the post briefly, but I have a different opinion from the most common suggestion. Even though those suggestions are not wrong.
Read and digest this.
