Happy 14th Anniversary of South Sudan's Independence Day!
Though there may not be much to celebrate in terms of progress or peace, the fact that our flag still flies high is reason enough to mark this day.
I hold South Sudan close to my heart.
Her pain is my pain.
Her struggle is mine.
And one day—by God’s grace—I will rise,
not for glory,
but to serve, to lift, to heal.
Because my people deserve peace.
They deserve a future.
Where's the promise?
The current regime under the leadership of Salva Kiir has lost the vision. Until the next administration, the liberation and intention envision the prosperity of the nation will be prioritised.
Where is Dr. Martin Elia Lumoro? Why did he go muted? Is he okay and safe?
The Tumaini Initiative is the only womb that will deliver lasting peace. Massively support it and nurse it well, so that we, South Sudanese, experience peace.
When you are in light, everything is with you. But when you enter into the dark, even your own shadow disappears.
Salutations to those who did not disown me due to my decision. I'll be thrilled and emerge victorious because of you being with me.
I am hurt by his untimely passing on. And I can't imagine the pain my dad is going through as he is the one facing the reality of his son's death at home while I am and his other elder sons are away home.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
In 18 yrs in power, from 2005 to date, Salva Kiir Mayardit built no schools, roads, railways with a huge amount of dollars of our oil and foreign aid.
