"Can Nigeria improve and sustain agricultural productivity using agroecological principles?"
This is one major question that farmers in Enugu State debated on yesterday at our practical agroecology training with them.
About 90% of the farmers maintained that it was possible.

#MyFoodIsAfr#MyFoodIsAfrican campaign, launched by AFSA, aims to reconnect #Africans with their traditional #foods and culinary heritage, emphasizing the importance of healthy, culturally appropriate food choices while advocating for favorable food policies.
Rooted in principles of #agroecology and #foodsovereignty, this campaign reaches out to a diverse audience, including African youth, chefs, health experts, and educators, to shape the narrative around food in #Africa.
In a world dominated by industrialized food systems, this movement seeks to dispel false solutions to #foodsecurity and empower African communities to take control of their #foodsystems for a healthier, more sustainable, and culturally grounded future.
Listen to AFSA's leaders in exploring the significance and timeliness of the #MyFoodIsAfrican campaign. Learn why it's crucial for everyone to support this movement towards agroecology and food sovereignty, reclaiming the rich and diverse traditional #African diets that have nourished generations.

@GMWatch From their dance it was always clear who the drummer was. It will be a shame if the agency remains in that toxic colonial trap. What a shame!!
