@AkronymCLT i would do some of this shading differently now. but i using shadow to support guidelines can help with placing as well when you dont want a harsh black line
@AkronymCLT hmmm. good question. I don't think too critically about it. but usually if it can be a shadow instead of a line, do a shadow. harder folds i feel constitute a line, as in, if something is folded over other fabric or covering something.
