GST Portal again failing on crucial due dates!!

With strict GST timelines, a working portal is the bare minimum.Faulty systems on last dates waste thousands of man-hours, burden taxpayers with undue interest.

पहले दिल्ली-नोएडा जाते थे तो हमारे वहां के दोस्तों को डंके की चोट पर कहते थे कि यार हमारा जयपुर हर मामले में सही है, वहां का माहौल सेफ है...लेकिन पिछले 3-4 दिन से सामने आ रही घटनाओं के बाद ये दावा कमजोर पड़ रहा है.

पहले इस्कॉन रोड की घिनौनी घटना सामने आई, अब मालवीय नगर में महिला की गरिमा तार-तार हुई है. फिर विडियो वायरल है और फिर कानून का इकबाल सवालों के घेरे में है.

राजधानी में हमारी बेटियां, बहनें अगर इस तरह असुरक्षित महसूस करेंगी तो कैसे काम चलेगा?

आज पचपदरा गाँव में डांगरी रात में शामिल होना था, इसलिए जयपुर से जोधपुर जाने के लिए रोडवेज की बस पकड़ी। संयोग से मैं ड्राइवर के ठीक पीछे वाली सीट पर बैठा था। बर–जैतारण के बीच अचानक ड्राइवर के फोन की घंटी बजी। उन्होंने फोन उठाया, उधर से कुछ सुना और बस इतना कहा “क्या…?”
अगले ही पल बस की रफ़्तार धीमी हो गई।

मैंने झुककर देखा तो ड्राइवर साहब की आँखों से आँसू बह रहे थे, होंठ काँप रहे थे। घबराकर पूछा
“अंकल, क्या हुआ?”

धीमे स्वर में उन्होंने टूटी हुई आवाज़ में कहा -
“मेरे बड़े भाई… हार्ट अटैक से… चले गए…”

क्षणभर के लिए मैं स्तब्ध रह गया। एक तरफ़ परिवार का अचानक उजड़ जाना… और दूसरी तरफ़ कई यात्रियों की जिंदगियों की ज़िम्मेदारी संभालते हुए स्टेयरिंग पर बैठे ये इंसान।

मैंने कंडक्टर को जगाया, हाल बताया और ड्राइवर साहब से कहा “गाड़ी रोक दीजिए, दस मिनट संभल लीजिए…”
पर उन्होंने आँसू पोंछते हुए सिर्फ इतना कहा—
“नहीं बेटा… सबको सुरक्षित जोधपुर छोड़ दूँ। फिर अंतिम बस से जयपुर लौटूँगा… सुबह दौसा पहुँचना है।”

रास्ते भर उनकी आँखों से आँसू चुपचाप टपकते रहे,
पर हाथ स्टेयरिंग पर डटकर, जिम्मेदारी निभाते रहे।
इतना बड़ा दुख… और इतनी भारी ड्यूटी…
और वे दोनों मोर्चे एक साथ लड़ते रहे बिना किसी शिकायत, बिना किसी हल्ले, बिना बाकी यात्रियों को बताए।

जोधपुर पहुँचने तक किसी को एहसास तक नहीं हुआ कि एक व्यक्ति भीतर से कितना टूटकर भी हम सबको सुरक्षित मंज़िल तक पहुँचा रहा था।

भगवान दिवंगत आत्मा को शांति दें, परिवार को शक्ति दें।
और इस कर्तव्यनिष्ठा, धैर्य और मानवीय साहस को मेरा शत-शत नमन।

🔹 The matter seeks extension of ITR due date for AY 2025-26 for audit taxpayers resulting in automatically extension of due date for filing of Tax Audit Report.

🔹 This step has been taken to protect traders, business community, taxpayers and professionals from undue hardship caused by Income tax portal with full of glitches which led CBDT to extend due date by 45 days for non audit returns.
